Dont think I have ever seen Glenn that deep down thrilled with a find. Can I assume he did the happy dance a couple of times off camera? Enjoy them mate, you have worked hard for them and keepers too!!!!
I have found a lot of those Sten barrel ends like that and I didn’t know what they were, I still have them and I’m glad I do, thank you for sharing that information brother
My fabulous peakys! You guys were on fire! Look at all the war finds! OMG way to go and congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you and jealous lol. Love you guys
I love to watch your channel !! Its always so intriguing wondering what you all pull up !! The way you interact with each other is sweet, you can tell that you love each other. I'm 74years old now, and I'm watching from Seattle, Washington State USA, up here near Alaska !! You couldn't tell that now, its 97degrees temperature outside today, I hear its hot in England also, too hot for me !!! I love how you teach the history about the items you pull up. I love to learn about what you pull up !! Keep up the good work. God Bless, love to all, Cathy from Seattle..............
One of the things I like most about the peaky dippers is the after show where you look at the fines and go into the history of what they are. I especially like it when you show your documentation and your illustrations. fantastic! 💥
Great video and thank you for the archive inserts that clearly showed what the various items are. Now all you need to do is invent a magnet launcher to propel your magnet farther from the water's edge.
So what started out as a bit of a duff day ended up as loads of absolutely cracking finds. Thanks for the explanations as to what found items actually are, brilliant. But can you imagine the sort of damage one of these things would inflict on a human if you actually got hit by one?
The tubes at 19:25 look like the fuse casting from inside of a mills grenade. The end that screwed into the grenade casting and held it in place, seems to have corroded and come off. The larger hole held the spring and plunger, the smaller held the detonator and charge.
The Sten ‘barrel’ is not the barrel. It is an Sten bolt. The round part is the spring guide , rear end, the front end shoves the rounds out of the magazine into the barrel and fires them. The Lee Enfield receiver wel that is a special one. It is fitted with an .22 lr barrel. It was used as an trainer or a sporting rifle. The receiver should have the serial number.
What finds you all got from that place will you be going back to there you should get into the lake or what ever it was can you think of what you would find in the middle of there well done to you all on ur finds 🤗
Just found your channel tonight I really enjoyed your magnet fishing and how nice of a couple you are definitely will be subscribing and enjoying your channel. Greetings from Stuttgart Arkansas ♥️🌻🦆🌾
Those are all great finds everyone, congratulations on on the bazooka that’s a crazy find for sure, another great video Glen and Marie thank you for sharing and have a great day.
That's funny you are all standing in the same 10ft area. Surprised you didn't hit each other in the head with the magnets. lol Love the grenade Marie. That's a keeper. Rocket launcher? holy crap. Why so much in that lake?
Hello Everybody , Very nice day and I see you all found some really amazing nice finds today , Great historical artifacts for you collection Hey Steve ,,, Nice to see ya back , We thought you caught Covid , Or a new girlfriend
Sorry if this question has been asked before. Do you give any of your finds to the National War Museum in London? I love your accent, I have a friend who moved to Stafford a few years ago, she has friends who come from the black country, I love it when she says 'I y'am. I'm not sure if I watch your videos for your finds or the accent 🤭🤭🤭
Thanks alison x Marie is black country and I'm am brummy. Yes we are regularly intouch with the national war museum, most of the time for identification purposes but do like to keep stuff for our selves unless it's of rare historical significance. I donated a cannonball to the Tewkesbury museum as I found it infront of the towns battlefield that went back to the 1640s. Lots more videos to come and I hope you enjoy x
It's the end of a panzerfaust 30m round, not panzerschreck....the so called artillery round or what you call a mortar is a ww1 british stokes mortar bomb, the base primer is a shotgun shell....faustpatrone and panzerfaust are the same thing, its the 30m version,it would have been fired under the arm not on the shoulder
Yes my partner , & myself have seen it when it was alongside the LIVERPOOL ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL not long after it was first completed DON'T get me wrong it is very well put together & very striking effect to it. But, sadly every blade in it has taken someone's life at some point. 😟😟😟😟😟😟 But, i did hear a few of those blades have been kindly donated without any use good or bad with them. That i am not 100% certain of jusf a strong( ish rumour) i heard. So, please don't take my word for that. So, for those who have not seen it & can get a chance to do so then do. As like many things you might on!y get the one chance to see such things.
