I remember using books to build huts and pretend as if they are houses, and pour cottons on the ground along with tree branches on them to make some trenches. Then me and my cousins would command a faction of toy soldiers to fight each other.
@Narayana 69 oh stfu with that nonsense. You actually think the US army is just galivanting around the globe killing people? Lol you really think wed spend all that money and material for nothing? Youre an idiot. The two armies above were dishonorable. The nazis extermination war against the slavs and the red army also had their camps and deportations. So get your head out of your ass.
@@AF-vm6xx I would completely understand why would you think that. As I watched it I was thinking how biased it was. I did studying and was just completely suprised that it was almost entirely true. Infact the movie only showed half the things Private, Doss actually did.
Good representation of a world war 2 movie, hell for both side, unlike hollywood film where the group of main cast can never die n even if they do they go down like a hero taking out a whole army before they die, and the way they fight in hollywood movies germans would have lost the war within months after American troops have landed 😅
GuusF - as Thelfifi above me pointed out before I could respond, the allied invasion of Europe on the beaches of Normandy - which I would argue is the event reasonable readers would think of when someone refers to when “American troops...landed” - happened June 6, 1944. WWII in Europe ended May 25, 1944. This is less than a year. Accordingly, the Germans “lost the war” (a/k/a unconditional surrender), “within months” after American troops landed. SCOREBOARD!!!
Foreign films for me usually have the most realistic depictions of WW2. Not many combat scenes, but the movie My Honor was loyalty is another good example.!
Thought the music was interesting. Not some glorious opera in the background, just some guitar peacefully playing as men are blown to pieces. It’s juxtaposition
@@overwatchelite4083 I mean, in the heart of a intense battle you want to survive so why not bash a German in the head with a Sthielhand Granaten (I don't know German don't kill me for my pronunciation of the name pls)
Top 5 funny attacks that happened in war 5. German grabs shovel then hits Russian 1:16 4. Soldier slaps someone with a grenade 1:47 3: Soldier throws grenade at a nearby army 2:04 2. @@ayoutubecommenter1827 Don't confuse Soviet soldiers with the British or Americans. if you admit such thoughts, then they are yours and only. you don’t know anything about Russians.
IMDB calls this movie "Amongst Heroes" (2010) . "Two young Russian historians are going to Ukraine to take part in the reconstruction of the Lvov-Sandomierz operation in July 1944. On sight they fall into conflict with Ukrainian nationalists, and some magical twist of fate, move into the middle of real warfare from more than 60 years. Miraculously avoiding death at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists, caught in the middle of fighting between the Red Army and the Nazis."
Okay so what??? Do they make these videos? Or are these all from movies? I need to watch the movies if they come from movies and if not these guys need to make like 20 movies
@@松岡ジョニー oh yeah it is BTR-152, must be captured then. Its never a good thing to show captured vehicle alone without "native" vehicle because audience will just assume that the film producer were too lazy to get German vehicles
It's not unrealistic. In the Napoleonic wars grenadiers would throw grenades like a volley into enemy positions so it's not unrealistic that in wwii they'd still use this strategy
the morale of the story, everyone fucking dies and if Holywood would make the movie a platoon of US soldiers would have whiped out everyone, russioan and german
@@seanassociateproductions1691 yes in real war situations there is much less fighting and most of the time when they do fight they're shooting at nothing
Its insane how apocalyptic this war looked in this video... "I dont know how WWIII will be fought, I know WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones"... I forgot who said that.
the battle of kursk is mostly tank against tank and plenty of artillery bombardments done by both side, not much infantry hand to hand fighting was mentioned on accounts of kursk veterans
@@mmx4gaming12 if he did he would have died right there with it. He bought himself time for that soldier to kill the German soldier. As the guy above said reflexes
Well in melee fight you just thinking of surviving, so they could bit enemy with everything they had in their hands. And grenade was pretty heavy for that reason
You guys have been raised by enemy at the gates and Stalingrad (the shitty Russian remake), most engagements took place around 100-250 meters from the enemy, warfare isn’t nearly as exciting as movies make it to be.
@@seanassociateproductions1691 Yeah, you're right, in places like the Eastern front hand to hand combat was rare, and the myths of unarmed red army soldiers charging at the Germans and NKVD officers randomly killing fleeing red army soldiers are all false
It looks like a peaceful, long-haired hippie farmer had his goat killed by the Nazis and he turned into a killing machine. He's the John Wick of WW2 ha ha 1:08 2:28 .
The battle of the Soviet soldiers with the soldiers of Hitler was marked with animal hatred for each other. A battle of completely opposite ideologies.. a battle of completely opposite philosophies... the battle of people with a completely opposite mentality.. the battle of the East against the West.. It even caused chaos in the originally organized battle. How can there be order in a clash of order, if both sides were guided by one thing- " as long as you live, you must kill. What? You say: God, honor.. love.. mercy? funny words intended for cowards and idiots...."
However, it was not the Soviet armies that crossed the border. It was not Stalin who published the book Mein Kampf-where he called other peoples subhuman and decided to destroy them. So they fought for destruction: mercy and cruelty, justice and disenfranchisement, life and death.
Im almost certain the Russian who gets shot at 3:37 emits a chaos marine sound bite..Ive watched this several times and Im just now picking up on it...
absolutely gripping... especially the opening scenes..the weapons and uniforms are very authentic and the close quarters combat vicious and well filmed. I really enjoyed it...up until the music came in for some reason it just doesn't fit well. Some of the plot line is a little contrived to help the tension build; for example .no German unit and especially the Waffen SS would show up to assault a position with their MG's unloaded...just saying.
