WW2 | The occupation of Paris seen by the Germans 

Paris suffered the German occupation between June 14, 1940 (arrival of German troops) and August 24, 1944. This occupation was characterized by shortages, the dictatorship of the occupier. Paris ceased to be the capital of the country and became the headquarters of the German military command in France, involving a strong presence of enemy troops and services.
