A medic at the battle of the bulge, can't find a more courageous hero than that these days, all the men that served in ww2 are as brave as they come and is hard to find men like them today

I bet he does! My papa would only talk about the war if you asked him. He had some amazing D-Day stories and stories about being on the ships heading over to invade Japan right before they surrendered. A lot of them will be happy to share if just asked, I've noticed. Soon, it will be up to us to pass their stories and experiences along... because the text books already get so much wrong.

Stephen Colbert You are entitled to your own opinion this is the internet even though you are blatantly disrespecting this man who saved the lives of our soldiers during the battle of the bulge. The fact that you are also stating that this a hate symbol is ridiculous. Francis Scott Key had no intention to discriminate any one minority during the writing of or National Anthem only of writing a poem about the bombardment of Fort McHenry. Your ignorance is repulsive, but again, that's my opinion. The ability to state what you think is what this country was founded on. There are very few countries that don't let down minorities in their past and though the US is certainly not one of them, I am proud to live in this country today no matter who the president is because in the end, we have the resources to do anything with our lives no matter your ethnicity or religious background.

Stephen Colbert Why? War heroes who fight for our country and keep us safe? That's not appropriate enough? The people who shed their blood so we don't have to go out and fight any wars? Many don't even know if they are going to return back to their families. I'm a colored individual, and this is why I am losing respect to the colored community.

nathan swag because it sounds painful to people who aren't tone deaf? He is who he is and the performance is what it is. to dislike one is not to dislike the other. When people see "wows crowd" they're expecting something that's at least in tune. They should have just put "attempts to hear himself perform"

Keith pryor The man has seen more evil and done more good in his life than you ever will. Most people his age can't even breathe well enough to put out a single note, and yet he did an entire song. You should be thanking him that you even have the freedom to sit behind a computer and act like some stuck up self-proclaimed music critic. I had the privilege to shake hands with John Lowe, the first American to shed blood in WW2. He was topside peeling an orange when he was hit by gunfire. The first gunfire on Pearl Harbor. God bless this man and all Veterans past and present. Hooah.

A true hero,This man set aside his dreams and desires and put his life on the line. I know in society today we think of pro athletes etc. as our heros and people we look up to, but for just a few moments lets stop and think what this humble old man has experienced,seen and gone through he and so much more deserve our utmost respect.
