SomeRandomDoctor and Jacob Cass went on from saving WWE to never win any championships for 5 years, becoming a jobber, performing on NXT, losing to William Regal, being a midcarder on RAW, back to being jobber on RAW, 2 years later, wins royal rumble, retires Arn Anderson, beats my created character for the WWE Championship in Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania, retires The Rock, and we dont know where his career will take him next. (I still play '12 to this day. My created character looks like Kenny Omega lol.)
TakerKaneanite619 little sad they couldn’t even record him telling wcw to “rest....in....peace” i mean really they had to know people would be waiting for that
I hadn't realized until now how much of Jacob's moveset is based on Austin Aries, the brainbuster, the rolling elbow with the left, and also the heat seeking missile, a really cool touch.
This RTWM was absolutely fantastic. I loved this. Also, that final cutscene was AWESOME. Triple H clocking Kevin Nash, Taker and Vince pushing over the WCW sign, everything about it was...amazing.
Undertaker, who was undefeated for a straight 21 Wrestlemanias and is known as probably the best superstar to ever live... gets pinned from a drop kick to a chair
2012 = Austin Aries was the main part of a WWE Video Game Story. Got hired with TNA. Became X-Division Champion. Became World Champion. Main Evented Bound for Glory with one of the biggest stars in history Jeff Hardy Greatest man Ever Lived!!
I forgot how ridiculous some of these spots were. A brainbuster on the steel steps, an inverted Alabama slam onto a standing chair, and the final spear from the top through the ring. If only it were a real match.
omg this story mode was awful lol At least the way the wrestlers were eliminated (Taker got eliminated WITH A LITTLE HIT IN HIS HEAD, and Cass was just watching that like nothing John Cena... well, only 1 spear Big Show, a fucking low blow from Vince??? Whatever, I enjoyed playing this when I was 11
i wish they would add this type of story back. now its “okay you have so many choices! (theres path a and b and both are the same, with different characters)”
The end of the hero part with Tripple H and the Rookie-Story, especially the HiaC-Match is so exciting. The cuts and the whole story are developing very good and create an identification in the player. I was so sad, it ended when it had tooken me to mark-outs. Don't like Cass (except his Move-Set), but would have played much longer with him. WWE13: Taker vs. Cass (CAWs) vs. Sting at WM. Would end their carrers. Please THQ. By the way: Difficulty, but not by an abundance of 1 vs. 2/3 Handicaps. !
lol thanks. sorry if I came off as a dick. I think that's probably the best RTWM in the series, its annoying though because you have to play through each story
This was more interesting than most main events in actual wee today. I really missed when the games took their time to create a thoughtful story. Now they just use old recycled scenes with no audio for universe mode
So, let me get this straight, the six man hell in a cell elimation tag match to determine the fate of WCW and WWE ends when Jacob Cass... *doesn't* pin Nash, but crawls out of a hole?
i remember as a kid being so upset the WarGames match wasn't unlocked and playable after beating the story.....and i'm STILL upset they haven't added WarGames
Man universe shows should have openings like this ..they catering too much to people who like arcade games and they keep copying and pasting the same cutscenes every year
If this would happened,it would be recognised as the best match ever...all we need is a 4 men commentary (Heenan,Lawler,Schiavone & Styles) and this could be the best match of all the fucking time
