Last night my caketools completely shit the bed and stopped baking at 667. I had to uninstall the game, delete my whole mod folder because the files were corrupted then re-mod my entire game
System > program files (x86) > Steam > userdata > *your steam ID number* > then the 2k23 folder is ID number 1942660 replace the files there with mine.
I did everything I created: _mods/baked51/characters and pasted the downloaded character onto it and I baked the baked 51 folder using the cake tool but when I launch the game I can't find the characters that I've downloaded???
@@ChibagamingJP I tried that but it still didn’t work only worked when I got rid of the mods but at the time they wasn’t installed properly the mods so might be worth a try again 🤔
@@ChibagamingJP with wwe2k19 eras mod. The arenas show up, but the wrestlers don't. Is still shows wrestlers that come with the game. With wwe2k23 I just don't understand I to mod it at all. Please brother let's set up a remote session between us. I just don't have a great understand of computer period.
ok I think I did that and I baked the folder but nothing shows up in game- do the files have to look a certain way cause they're still rar and wem files ( i just realized when i checked for baked files in caketools they do not show up- are they the wrong files or?) @@ChibagamingJP

@@gabrielcarvalho6574 they will be under the modded character. So for example if you downloaded the Rock mod it'll be under a version of the rock, if you downloaded a drew gulak for cm punk cm punk then will take drew gulak place. Just make sure you are playing on high settings using baked 51 if you are playing on low settings use baked 61
when i load into the game.. i get a notification saying the save file is corrupted and i need to create a new one to continue.. any idea how to fix this?
@@ChibagamingJP yep, i installed it where my other save files were previously and replaced them with yours.. then it said the save was corrupted and would have to make a new one to continue

Bro Every mod was worked in mu game but idk how every GFX mod stop working,i replaced gfx file with other superstar amd then rebaked them , still not working.Pleaseeee help me Please
@@ChibagamingJPbro I copied a character mod file Grayson Waller to cm punk in character folder and then baked it after that everyt mod stop working.Now please tell me wt to do please brother.
You may have done something wrong it's hard to tell what's going on . The best thing you can do is delete the entire _mods folder and make a new one reinstall the mods and rebake
I've done everything you said in the video and still this fuckin character mod is not working not showing up, i downloaded dean ambrose mod which replaces mvp, i put it in the characters folder i baked it, then i launch the game with modlauncher but as always nothing happens help me broooo plz, i'm so frustrated
Do any free tools exist currently that can add new wrestlers, attires & arenas without replacing one's already in the game? I know of Meta 2 but it's not free, so I'm wondering if there's anything else like it to use that's free.
Thanks for the question! Yeah as of now meta 2 is the only tool. But honestly if you don't use most of the wrestlers why not replace them? You know. I swapped out drew gulak for cm punk and it works out

So... if my game is the latest version of 2k23 than it's a wrap? Unless I downgrade... which may have some nasty implications for my save file? If this is true, is it possible to copy modded characters from another PC or would the baking still be a problem?

Yes I place in characters in the folder _mods. what character it have in the game can work .But some characters is not in the game it not work. @@ChibagamingJP
so when i open a arena mod pack it shows everything in there like when you click the arena folder it shows the concept and then textures then it shows the dds image but for some reason in cake tools in doesnt show it in the baked51 folder as it does if i wasnt using caketools

1. you can download a new save file on discord (PWM) 2 . do a through check of your files. make sure your baking on the correct settings. High textures- use baked 51-58 low textures- use 61- 68 !!
Is there some sort of update with the cakehook files? when I put the two files in my 2k23 file and every time I try open it, it just opens the troubleshoot page and doesn't open
@@ChibagamingJP It’s still not working for me I’m so confused 😭. To switch the trons and aprons you just added a movies to the baked folder containing an ss and titantron folder right? And have the files named to the superstar you’re replacing?
