It can be disappointing, but I've had some incredible luck in the past so I can't complain too much. I usually try to grind out 100K or so a day while watching youtube or other streaming.
I can't really say if it's worth it or not at this point. Live Events were basically the only thing that was different from last year and they were all limited time events so a lot of them are done gone. I enjoy playing this mode and we are currently at the time when all the best cards are coming out and the speed that you can grind points is better now than at the first of the year. There is a lot of content with the weekly towers and proving grounds that will likely last you a few months. Also, there are several live events currently and coming in the next few days that will give you a lot of packs using generic cards of the different tiers which should be easy to get at this time. However, we only have probably 2.5 months or so of content till the new version is released (typically in March). The 2022 version is having the servers turned off in like a week so this version will probably only have a year from now before servers are turned off. Also. It may be hard to get the cards that you need for the upcoming live events (that require specific cards)
I haven't pulled and of the diamonds from the Latino Heat packs. They were terrible for me. 10/15 and 0 diamonds. I think I posted my first pull video from this pack and I believe I had problems with my mic so there is no reaction which is unfortunate since if I remember right the first 3 packs had 4 Axiom cards. Worst pulls I've had.
