WWE 2K24 - 2K’s INSULTING Response to DLC 3 Backlash 🤦🏾‍♂️ 

Let me tell you my history I haven't played a wwe wrestling game since 2k20 and that horrible experience... before that I bought wwe games every year and 2k24 was the first wwe game I bought since 2k20, if they forgot why 2k20 was a failure and treat me like this 2k24 will be my last wwe game while another few years... I don't need them, they need me.

This is embarrassing what in the world were they thinking did their brains shut off. They could have done the wild Samoans, Melina, the road warriors, the midnight express. So many Stars could have been put in the game. I don't mind Patt being in the game but who are the rest of these clowns.

They don’t hesitate to create these deluxe editions and charge a arm & leg but Still don’t give us what we want, there’s a lot Of wrestlers that were cleared that are missing smh all in all I enjoy playing wwe2k24 but it’s disappointing the amount of wrestlers that aren’t in.

I like WWE2K24 and I understand that WWE2K wants to show support for Pat McAfee, but this is certainly not a good look, especially when the people who are in the pack who obviously have nothing to do with wrestling decided to take aim at the players from the WWE2K community who wants better DLC packs in the first place shows how sad the situation is.

An absolute joke. Lost my save data while playing the game normally. 2K should've lost the rights after 2K20 after releasing broken games and not fixing them.

Hey Kenny the reason this bad dlc got pushed pack is probably because of Call of Duty launching the wwe skins this week. This is why Fornite also held back dropping wwe stars this week. Lynchisborn and other said this could be the reason. I think this decision to include his jobber friends was a WWE move to please him. Not 2k.

The "Bumass Pack" was always going to be disappointing, it was the Patch and what 2K added with it that i was interested in, and they both look just as disappointing.. So i'm really losing my patience with the WWE 2K Devs and this series!! Updated RAW/SmackDown Arenas? Final Boss Rock? New Tag Titles? Women's North American Title? People's Title? Andrade? Naomi? Authors of Pain? Updated Themes? (AJ Styles, Bron Breakker, Sheamus, DX etc) The game is dead 😭

All this did was not only kill more respect for 2K, but now.... they just potentially ruined sales for WWE2K25. Last time Pat McAfee was in video was madden 25 game in 2013

I got the season pass when I got the game so I am stuck with it unfortunately , but I don't understand why they are focused on putting non-wrestlers in a wrestling game. It is what it is. This is my last 2k wrestling game anyways so I'm not too butt hurt on it, though I feel for everyone else still playing it later on when it's solely only on new consoles. PS4 is the end of the run for me, as I don't play games much anymore and can't justify buying a new console because I don't play games much anymore, if at all. Smackdown! Here comes the pain was the last great wrestling game, and everything since has been broken cash grabs, so I don't feel like I am missing anything anyways lol. Gone are the days of actually getting a complete game on launch, as now they come with constant updates and paid dlc. The more I think about all the money I have thrown away on these half ass games by 2k, I am actually glad I won't be playing anymore of them after this one. I have better uses for the money.

These guys are now heels and they are wrestling fans who 2K offered to be in the game and who wouldn't take that deal!!? 2K isn't replacing the dlc and we're getting some great move-sets which 2K use to give us with dlc!! Storyline and gimmicks are wrestling and that's what they are giving us!! Everyone hates them so they become the bad guy's. Crossovers are huge right now and this is just and example. WWE games have been putting non-wrestlers in games for years!! MGK Fred Durst! Post Malone to name a few. To be honest most barely use these models anyway! Who's playing Headbangers and Honky-tonk Man besides when they were released!

I completely understand both sides if you really thought about but I agree that we don’t need the extra bit of slander or remarks because last time I checked it’s us that are supporting these games that can be sub par or mid! I’m also wondering if what Ty Smidtt was saying or talking about NXT will be used as an angle kind of like when Adam cole had appeared on Pat’s show but pat didn’t take too kindly to what was said during the interview!

Look, I'm fine with Pat being in the game. I will personally probably never use him, but to have a dlc pack for a wrestling game with 0 wrestlers is insane.

Agreed that they should include Pat. And it’s ok that they usually have one maybe two celebrities guest starring in the games each year, but having four unknowns? I mean everyone knows Arnold, Mr T, Mohammad Ali, even Fred Durst! But most people know who these guys are. The only way 2k can redeem them selves is if they included a ton of moves missing from the game, I miss the Moves Pack DLC. Please give us back moves such as Victoria’s Argentina Sideslam, and Ryback’s Cradle Samoan drop move he did. Oh and bring back the proper Vertibreaker not the crap one they’ve given Hurricane in the last few games. Hey where’s the Judment Slam. And the list goes on. The moves in the Pat Pack, there’s maybe 3 worth using… if that. At least we’ll get Darby’s “Coffin Drop” .

Either this was a work that WWE cleared Pat to do or they will claim it was setup but NXT wrestlers weren't told about it before it aired. They will cover it up like they always do because they love Pat and the fact that he brings more potential fans to the product from outside wrestling. Sad, but that's the way it will go, they won't take any action over what was said.

Man Pat MacAfee ain’t even the problem it’s everyone else in the pack i’ve been waiting for pat since 23 and happy to have him finally although he should’ve been base roster the problem with this pack is they added a bunch of non wrestlers who never ever stepped foot in the ring on wwe tv and expected us to be happy about it instead of getting actual wrestlers and I’m furious it’s like 2k just cutting corners atp from the bland ass post malone to these random ass people in pats pack we never asked for we are legit just paying for models atp we don’t get shit special from them to the point 2k had to add moves from people in different promotions just to make people get this pack

Patt personally isn't the problem but it's his buddy's not wwe related the only positive is if his buddy's are basically used as adding say 80 plus new moves like we used to get with the MOVESET DLC. But im hoping it got delayed because of backlash and going to add free superstars like Sol Ruca, Fallen Henley.. people like that who should have made it in

Absolutely atrocious that this is "official DLC." Who would actually pay for this?! WWE owns the licenses for NXT, ECW and WCW, and THIS is what they decide to make the community pay for?! 🤔 Give me Raven, Sabu, New Jack, Big Poppa Pump, etc. It's an absolute travesty. I, along with a significant portion of the wrestling community, do not have any objections to the concept of a football-themed downloadable content (DLC) by WWE. However, the execution of this concept has been poorly managed here. This industry has a plethora of football players turned wrestlers to draw from that would have received a great applause from the IWC if WWE would of gone this route with it to go along with Pat here just to name a few who would of been nice to see in and some who could likely use the money with a legends deal from it. Enough slots are wasted on spots for wrestlers from MyFaction persona cards. Those could be used on NXT stats, rather than Manbun Roman Reigns, or boxing gloves Trick Williams.

I definitely would have preferred actual wrestlers in the game but I think wrestling fans are making this out to be a much bigger deal than it actually is.

Shmitt or whatever his name is said what he did mainly for views and that video has definitely gotten views. Upsetting the WWE gaming community will get some players using them as jobbers, to beat them. But that still gives them some relevance. I won't be using them at all in any capacity. 2K reposting that video was without a doubt a slap in the face to their consumers. Makes me consider not buying another 2K game.

I know very little about Pat MacAfee and I only know AJ Hawk because he played for the Packers. Main question is why does Pat MacAfee have to be DLC when the community makes him for free anyway? Sure that's one less created superstar slot but isn't that what the created wrestlers are for anyway? To get these guys we wouldn't otherwise get like Jimmy Snuka, Chris Benoit and Pat MacAfee? This pack sucks in all honesty! You wanna know how I would've handled this pack? Since it's based around WrestleMania I would've got NFL stars who had a WrestleMania moment. Lawrence Taylor, Steve McMichael, Ernie Ladd, William Perry and Bill Fralic with Pat. Fralic, and Perry were both in the WrestleMania 2 Battle Royal, Ernie Ladd is a WWF & WCW hall of Fame inductee, Lawrence Taylor fought Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI and Steve McMichael wrestled in WCW as one of the four horsemen. They all fit perfectly in as legends too. Now in ten years let's compare and see who's talked about still, a internet celebrity who talks trash or Steve McMichael and Lawrence Taylor.

This is a bad look for wwe and 2k! These dudes are trash and not funny. I’m a football fan, yet I care nothing about these people. If they wanted a sports themed pack, how about Reggie White, Refrigerator Perry, Gronk, Steve McMichael, Lawrence Taylor to go with McAfee. That would have at least made sense. Im with the majority that prefer wrestlers i might actually use since we paid for the DLC. Wwe will have to do something drastic for me to come back for 2k25. Hopefully next year SOMEONE can release a good bug free wrestling game..lol.
