The mode just need to be revamp for 25, since their focus shouldn’t be on gameplay for 25 anymore I feel like they got the gameplay where they wanted to be just a few updates so now their focus can be on like showcase mode and universe mode for 25

The fixes for universe mode could be 1: the draft, so that way we won't have to always pick which superstar comes to what roster or at least make it an option. 2. Promos need to come back and make sense. 3. A Lot more cut sense added. Two nights need to be added for ple (WrestleMania) 4. Or a good one would be, create your own cut scene. 5. Add your own loading match screen instead of those old transitions and load screens

Universe Mode needs an optional "Launch" menu. It allows you (all in one screen) to select which shows on which day, allocate wrestlers to whatever show you choose, set up the champions and rivalry settings. Let me set up my options before you launch me into Raw ep1

I actually like universe mode, but it definitely needs help. A few things I think could really up its quality. Tournaments, draft etc.. But the weekly shows need help. Raw, smackdown, and nxt I would love to see interviews, contract signing segment things like that.

Universe Mode shouldn't go away. It's one of the reasons I even buy these games, even if I have to keep a lot of it in my head, the feeling of running a wrestling promotion (without the extra headache GM Mode can be) and just concentrating on booking matches, creating other promotions, etc. is a big part of the fun for me - even with the jank.

@@bigdawggaming1020 I feel intros, promos with cut scenes, story arcs and something at the end of a match that makes you feel you enjoyed the rivalry instead of get the pin, victory celebration that’s it next match. Maybe add cutscenes of commentary team talking about the feud before the match starts. You know a bit of realism

TNA should be a big part of WWE 2K25. Arenas, titles, wrestlers, moves and a part on the career modes with an invasion like storyline maybe. With Abyss/Joesph Park added in and a TNA version of AJ Styles.

Cutscenes need to include backstage segments,triple threat rivalries,promos,draft and contract signings for title match segments. Also in custom arenas we should be able to add our own custom WM sign so the superstars to point to in Universe Mode

Story designer in Universe Mode would be fun. Since its the custom mode. You could do stories for that show or a storyline that goes to the ppv. Maybe set a roadmap. So one week is a tag match. The next week a promo. If it involves a title & so forth.

@Assemble Universe mode does not need an overhaul as I feel it's fine the way it is. They just need to fix all the bugs and glitches and everything that is broken and that doesn't work in that mode!

WWE 2K25 please bring back the PPV Playnow game mode from back in the No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 games. This allows you to create a one time PPV that you can play through instead of having to go through the whole Universe mode. It’s a simple mode that could be added and bring back some of the nostalgia that made those games so much fun to play.

Crazy thing is, they can add some simple fix that'll help universe out alot. Triple threat and fatal 4 way rivalry 3v3 rivalry for faction More rivalry slots Promos Some of the few off the top my head i can think of.

Yeah, in showcase I’d rather have 5 or so rivalries and really deep dive into the stories, the build up, the main event. Like Triple H vs HBK. I could spend a couple hours just diving into that story.

16:17 - Yes, i did. Brock Lesnar, 03, 14 and 15 were all in the game day 1. I know because i got the game late and had a 25 gb patch. I played before the patch downloaded

right now tag teams are a big issue for me, i couldnt add more or it would crash the game, then the default teams got added back in addition to my custom teams, now my Universe crashes every time I load it after deleting the default teams

I only seem to get the same couple of cutscenes in universe mode, it's such a shame they haven't invested time into improving universe mode, I think you did say it should merge with My GM would be a great option.

The most recent time I played WWE2K24 Universe mode, I focused on Superstar Mode. I found myself wishing there was a way in Universe (not Exhibition) to control both partners in a tag match. Did they change how it's done or remove that?

Rvd does do the vandamanator with the chair and sandman have special grapples with weapons but wish you could do more with ladders tbh the ladder shot is lame and the grapple moves use to be way better with ladders in previous games

Have you run into the issue where created tag teams in Universe suddenly revert to default? I have and it is a Universe mode killer! I opened a ticket with 2K and they can't seem to replicate it. I was about a year into Universe when mine did that- so frustrated!

We need thumbtacks or glass. The only reason we play showcase mode is for the unlockables. It's a drag having to do it every year. I put it on easy just to smash through it ASAP.

Get rid of showcase n have like 4 or 5 wrestlers that are focused on for a true career mode. With these strong systems,this should be done. But that means they have to work instead of copy n paste.

Not to repeat what ya said not to do lol, but Brock for me was in the game when I first installed after i unlocked his wm showcase matches, but the update afterward I think took out content. He was in the vc purchasable area too for his early attire from the last games ovw pack. Now I only see him in the wrestlemania showcase thou.

If it’s possible to add more control to GM Mode I’d be fine if they killed Universe altogether and integrated more of the autonomous features (custom arenas, cut scenes, calendar edits, etc) into GM. Universe is so tired and played out that I really have no interest.

Yes he was in the game day one on physical before any patches. As in install the disc offline then stay offline and play. 4 models of brock are in base game without patches.

Matt. I have figured out how to do "Bootleg" promos in the game. Short of a real Story Mode it would be really nice if they would add the (R2+➡️) animation for weps. Specifically the Microphone 🎤. I should be able to do a taunt (R2+➡️) that makes the wrestler look like they are actually talking. Would really go a long way for my Bootleg Promos. It's not a big ask, and shouldn't be that hard to patch in the game.

All these years. And still no clash of Eras mode. Or a Capitol Years mode where you are maybe assigned a district by Toots Mondt, and similar to GM mode, you would compete with other districts. The end goal being to gain the exclusive rights to Madison Square Garden.

Having experienced the same glitch in create mode 3 years in a row, which I don't see them fixing, I highly doubt they will fix the universe mode either. I see the same complaints about online mode as last year. I don't bother with it, tbh as the complaints put me off for one thing. What will 2k25 be? Exactly the same as 22, 23, and 24 with an updated roster and probably new matches. I don't know why any of us expect anything else at this point.

Here's what I would do to "fix" showcase mode. First thing, having to hit all the objectives is lame. Just let us play the match. Then, let's say you're doing Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon ladder match at WMX, instead of doing all the cool spots in a cutscene, make them events during gameplay. So for example, you have Razor down and the ladder is in the corner, you can use a finisher to ride the ladder onto him just like he did in the match.

So, when you do the big move in Showcase mode, you unlock for use in your movesets. For example, if you play Bianca Belair vs Asuka and you hit the deadlift KOD she won with, you unlock it as a Super Finish for Bianca and a move you can use in CAW

they should combind myrise and universe modes, hear me out it would have myrise stories backstage walk around and then in settings it becomes universe edit arena roster title etc etc they could do alot with what they already have instead they are scared to overhall it when they already have the means and the tech to combind two modes to make one big mode

Or another way they can do to change up showcase is to throw it out completely and do what wwe all stars did too where it’s was like dream matches that never happened can happen like cm punk vs Austin Cena vs hogan….rock vs La knight Etc just have legends compete against current wrestlers to see who would win if it actually happened out like video packages in it to hype it up or throw in a cut scene to give it some fun idk maybe 🤷🏽‍♂️ what you think assemble

One thing I’d love to see changed is the rewards for losing a match. To me it’s not about winning or losing it’s about putting on a good matches. I often let the ai put the whoopin on me for a few just to get that rating up and make it more realistic. I’ll even lose the match every once in awhile especially if there is a run in. But 2k is like oh wow 5 stars instant classic here’s 47 points. Obviously I have everything unlocked by now but it still annoys me.
