WWE 2K24: How I Set Up UNIVERSE MODE in 2024 (Tutorial) 

If you really want the authentic feel like WWE in your Universe Mode, act like you’re Kevin Dunne and do a thousand camera cuts 🤣🤣

Assemble if u want wwe Champion match in main event than u have to put wwe championship rivilvary in slot 1..

Loved this vid fellow Matt! I’m already upto Summerslam in my Universe mode and I’ve come across a few bugs. The most annoying thing that I’ve noticed is ladder matches take FOREVER. It’s almost like the AI forget they’re in a ladder match, and my MITB entire card glitched out big time. Can’t remember what I edited within the PPV but it sent the whole thing into a tailspin. The women’s MITB ladder match was going for half an hour and not one participant went for the briefcase, and Andre the Giant ended up winning the men’s MITB by pinfall…😂. You read that right, no one went for a ladder for a good 20 minutes and Andre just pinned a man and won it which was hilarious. AI cash ins are glitched out too. I spectated a normal 1v1 match with my women’s champion, the women’s MITB just inserted herself into the match without no control from me, it ended up like a 2vs1 handicap match where Miss MITB just kept attacking the champion and not who she was wrestling, and when the match finished and the champ eventually lost, the 3 wrestlers just stood frozen in the ring and just stopped doing anything for ages. My guess was that was an AI attempted pre match cash in, and the whole thing just broke. So yeah plenty of bugs, but it’s the first universe mode I’ve played since wwe13, so it all seems so fricken cool to me even though it might be boring and repetitive and buggy to others! Would love it if you kept doing fun play throughs of universe in different forms and seeing what other bugs you find cos when they happened to me I googled to see if anyone had a fix and it felt like it was only happening to me so I’d love to see what else you might find so we’re all aware of it in our own universe modes. For all the quality of life improvements they made to this game, not upgrading Universe Mode feels like the only negative to the game. We need Saturday PLEs, the ability to make a PLE a one or two night event. So Wrestlemania would be defaulted to two nights but for fun we can make any PLE a two night event. Royal Rumble two nights with the Women's Rumble closing the show Saturday and the Men's Rumble closes the show Sunday. Two Night Summerslam, again it's a video game let us have fun with it. Also the idea of starting a Universe with a Blank Calendar and letting us truly customize it from the start needs to be a thing.

I just copy the current WWE roster and then vacate all titles then run tournaments for the vacant titles. This allows me to then create my own storylines going forward instead of copying WWE's current storylines

Instead of having the women’s tag titles on both shows i just set it for raw and set a midcard women’s title on smackdown

i believe i had a rematch from wrestlemania with the rock and roman with drew as the special guest ref (also the mitb holder) i feel like drew shouldve been able to cash while reffing the match but wasn’t a option

I already set up my fully up to date universe mode(play through the assumed mania card with my own twist. Just got through backlash (in France) and nearing nxt battle grounds I think. Watching the video to get ideas and support the Chanel. Keep up the good work

I did a universe mode on Thursdays I made GLOW 2.0 (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling) and empty Sunday slots for pay preview it would be Ladies Wrestling only I downloaded some custom created women and I added wwe Ladies roosters in GLOW shows

One cool thing is you can have a superstar in 2 factions at the same time. I did it for Jimmy to be in the bloodline and the usos.

Just a tip your supposed to set the PLE the last 2 weeks of the month for the rivalry system to work properly

Attitude era setup with no split roster and only one set of titles . That’s the setup I would like to see and honestly how WWE should be . Having multiple tag and world champs devalues the meaning of the title

bit of a noob question....... but if i create teams and/or edit superstars on th e main roster screen (Options > Roster) do those chnages not carry over to Universe mode? Ive created a bunch of tag teams BUT when i enter universe mode those teams arent there?? ive done some searching and most points to the fact that i have to recreate them along with any changes i may have made to superstars as.....WTF...... am i missing something or is this the case?

if you make a rivalry between mr money in the bank and who you want to cash against, the rivalry actions with the cash ins work better

i heard if you put all PLE's om the last sunday of every month, All the rivalrys will end on time and not be bugged!

This is annoying me so much and I dont know how to fix it. So i made two new shows that were not raw and smackdown. Meaning in my universe mode I made two new shows called FCW and MCW with each show having its own roster and championships. However, it makes me so mad because you pick the superstars to be on that show but then some how even though their not selected to be on the other show their still on the show, which is so annoying and ruins my universe game and the point of having two rosters.

For the two royal rumble match set ups for the match tables, does the game recognize that it’s one men and one women?

the contenters section is confusing. Each superstar can compete TO ONE ONLY category. if for example I put the rock as a team in a tag and set them to compete for the Tag Team titles, he automatically CANNOT compete for the WWE Championship solo. I haven't understand the concept of contenters yet. Does the game automatically book them to play one-another more often? Is everyone competing for everything or is it hard locked according the contenters section? Does it matter who you activate or not in the contenters? Extra question. Can we set up a kING OF THE RING tournament? I have seen that there are the show's images, etc but I cannot set a tournament anywhere

I'm very frustrated with Universe Mode. I spent quite a lot of time setting mine up. Tried to do a cash in and it wouldn't let me. MITB never works.

You need the roster to be filled with the quality wrestlers that left wwe or were cut

So far for mine I'm doing two different ones on different accounts and on my second one nxt is gone for good everyone is on the main roster two different show's all the teams disbanded as well and no managers

I'm going a different route. I'm doing 4 "dream universe" All-Star shows. They will probably consist of 20-30 or so wrestlers each. WWE, ECW, WCW and GLOW. Yes, I'm giving the women their own show where they will only be on that show and the PPVs. CAWs will be included.

Why can't I pair miz and truth together?? When I try to get a second person in the faction, miz is not on the list.

I don‘t care about a realistic universe. I use 2002 raw and smackdown arenas with current championships. I have a women‘s only brand and a legend‘s only brand. I only wish you could add the locals from gm or the myrise customs to make an indie show with them. Like cole quinn, psycho sally and so on. Would be great since we have indie arenas

@AssembleShow i'm having this weird glitch where my allies are not saving, last night i went through half of my roster and set up their allies HOWEVER it didn't save properly i closed the game twice and some allies saved but others didnt, what should i do?

A question how come maybe only to me it happens the supertas created in community creations if I put them as a manager I disappear the models and put the presets not those created by me as I do

universe mode is difficult for me,whatever happened to a great storymode for real wrestlers like the bloodline story or jey and jimmy usos story

I cant get Roman’s full entrance on universe mode. Idk what or why happens but he does his generic solo entrance with everyone just walking behind. It works fine in every other mode, does anyone know what I can do?

Does your universe mode save correctly? Matches are still there and not changed when you turn it back on.

in 2k23 the intensity of the rivalry had to be set as low for full access to the cutscenes but i see 2k got so incompetent in 2k24 that they don't know the meaning of free mode, not surprising considering they couldn't even get the wrestlemania 25 undertaker's entrance and entrance attire right, one job 2k you had one job

i hate that u have to wait for DLC releases to use some people.. like come on... haha but oh well, on my universe im alil old school, idk i have one roster on RAW only, not that i dont like smackdown but i feel like its to many events, idk maybe if i had 2 different rosters ya id have raw and smackdown, but right now i have just one main title, the wwe title, and then the US title and then one tag team title belt, not raw and smackdown, just one main one, and then one womens title. and its all the basic named ones.. the mens major title is the WWE championship, the womens is the WWE Womens championship, maybe ill go back to the now a days style but for now just those belts, i may be adding back in the IC title, not sure why i only went with the US title between the 2 haa, i just had MITB event, had a good card, i dont really have rivals going or major storylines leading up to it, the rival actions seem same ole same ole, and some dont make sense sometimes small lil build ups just kinda come to me and ill make them into a match, for example, when i was doing my money in the bank qualifying matches, LA Knight lost his even tho he grabbed the bottom rope while the refs counted 3, idk if that really happens on the game or the fact i had rope break off haha oops.. sooo i turned that into a storyline, i had LA knight act like he demanded another shot, so i put him in the cody aj match to make it a triple threat qualifying match, AJ pinnned LA, soooo Cody was upset that LA Knight cost him a shot at MITB, sooo cody end up fighting knight one on one at MITB, soo its lil things like that i kinda just turn into small fueds and lead ups, some matches at PLEs dont even have a back story or rival, its just a card filler that looks good, like i had miz and maryse hubby and wife take on a irish and scotish fighter in sheamus and piper niven ahhh and one more match i had at MITB, was a 5 person gauntlet eliminator match for the cruiserweight title that dirty dom had.. and no joke the last 2 in the match were dom and rey, Rey beat dom to capture the cruiserweight title....... anyways sorry that was so long lollll

Everytime I watch a simulated ladder match, no one ever climbs the ladder. They dont even try. Lots of problems with this game still.

Universe Mode Is Super Broken it’s Depressing They Need To Fix It

The mixed gender tag teams kill me. You can't win a championship with them. You should be able to put a wrestler in a mixed team AND a normal team. Even better, it should be like the SVR games and let you have multiple tag teams and factions. Just turn on which tag teams are active in the tag division. (Also, expand factions. Multiple tag teams on a faction. Faction managers. More than 5 in a faction. It's not like you're giving us 5-on-5 matches anyway.)

Having this much control is the exact issue with this MODERN universe mode. SvR 2011 never let me customize or change a damn thing and it was so perfect for it. God the POWER RANKINGS was just gold!!! Look at them now. So bleek and non functioning. You can shoot your wrestlers you want to the top. What a fucking joke.

The fact that I have to watch a video like this or spend hours on hours customizing instead of actually playing this game is crazy. Universe mode in modern gaming is so braindead and fucked. How is this fun assemble? All I think about is playing SvR 2011 on my PS3 and playing the OG universe mode and have a blast bein FORCED to actually play the mode and earn my way to the WWE championship belt. It was work, it was exciting and rewarding. In 2k24 I customize every single match I play in the mode because the game itself only uses certain wrestlers and forgets everyone else so the rankings is just random instead of a real system. SvR is running the show when it comes to REAL game design. Modern gaming is trash 😂😂 your video is great and informative tho. Sad that you have to do something like this because SvR was so straight forward and more shit to do in it. So sad.. we've only gone down hill since 2011

I think I have seen others say this, but with my universe mode I fully customize and book every show on my own, I do raw and smackdown with 4 matches each. It gets tedious a lot of the time but I find it a lot more rewarding when you finally make it to a PPV, I have never really enjoyed letting the ai book the show even using match tables. So if you are also someone who doesn’t find that way of playing much fun either, I 100% would suggest trying to book your own shows with a few less matches to make it manageable

Match tables for rivalries are different than regular match tables. Changing the format or regular one on one or tag matches do not change the match types for rivalries you have to change them separately. That’s always been a thing
