I would love it if they recreated the crimson mask on stone cold against Bret Hart. Not just a cut scene but actual game play like that. Don't forget to turn blood on. It's off by default for some reason.
They also confirmed Fiend vs Orton for WM37. I wished they did Wyatt vs Cena for WM30, Charlotte vs Asuka for WM34, Undertaker vs Roman for WM33, and Undertaker vs HHH from WM28

It will have been a tough choice since they headlined multiple wrestlemanias. At least Hogan headlined the first six so you can’t remove that from history. The devs could have added more matches.

Three still there's still some matches they didn't announce my guess Is the last 3 are Lesnar. Taker vs Brock is definlty one of them other guess is Roman vs Seth vs Brock at mania 31 because Seth vs Randy is confirmed and the last one is anybodies guess.
I seriously doubt we'll get special entrances for these models. I mean they couldn't have even bothered giving 03 Lesnar his entrance last year and just copy pasted current Lesnar.
That was disappointing, they could've at the very least used his 2K19 entrance, which was in the game, but only if you make Heyman and Brock as a team, then Heyman comes out as his manager, with Brock's 2K19 entrance motion.
It’s a valid complaint. Doesn’t have to be exactly every match included from 2K14, but it was also a chance to include matches that weren’t in 2K14 as well
@PhoenixKing0617 the thing is, you can't get everyone. You can't have Edge, Jericho, Sasha Banks, Sting etc. Lesnar is being erased from existence. And if I'm WWE, I'm not putting anyone in my game that actively with a "competitor"
Technically this trailer doesn't confirm the in game in game apparence of Miss Elizabeth and George "The Animal" Steele. They technically are a part of that match, but the trailer doesn't show thier in game models. I would imagine WrestleMania 1's main event is here too given Muhammad Ali's inclusion because his inclusion makes no sense otherwise. I imagine Brock is in one of these matches, just not going to be promoted. 21 matches for 39 WrestleManias is disappointing, but in all honesty a lot of them don't really have memorable matches anyway.
If this is the COMPLETE match list, then I’m a little disappointed. They could’ve done Shawn vs Taker 2, Hunter vs Taker, Cena vs Rock, and Brock vs Taker if Brock is in the game. Instead of that, they went from 25 all the way to 31, doesn’t make a lot of sense. Edit: Sorry, didn't really think the number of matches through. There's still some matches not revealed yet
This mode is severely disappointing. It was possible for them to include at least 1 match for every WrestleMania, but they just didn't try. I was only getting the game for this mode, but I don't even want that much now. I hope they at least include every WrestleMania arena
This might be one of the best showcases since 2K14 were getting Kurt vs Eddie ( WM 20 ) Austin vs Rock ( WM 17 ) and Cena vs Wyatt ( WM 36 ) I NEED THE GAME NOW!! 🔥🔥🔥
It is. 100%. As a yearly-relesease series, if given more time, I think we would've gotten one match per 'Mania for thirty-nine. But, they always need new content for future games, right?
Maybe the two last showcase matches we didn't have if I counted right are the ones with brock so if this is true I hope we get lesnar vs angle with the beautiful wrestlemania 19 arena followed by brock vs undertaker, I don't want the unification title match from wrestlemania 38 because it wasn't a great match . Maybe if Cm punk returned earlier we could have had punk vs undertaker wm 29, punk vs mysterio wm 26, but I'm very surprised that we haven't had any john cena matches that's a weird list I hope the two last matches not annouced are jbl vs john cena and lesnar vs angle
The fact they only have 21 matches in a anniversary year is crazy. 2K14 is 10 years old and had PS3 & Xbox360 technology with 47 matches in 30 years of Wrestlemania… The 2nd crazy thing is that there will be multiple matches from several Manias such as WM39 which is another sign of laziness imo… they tried to safe capacity with not adding 21 different Wrestlemania Arenas.
@MainEventMarvinTyler I understand where you're coming from but I can see why there was only 21 matches this time instead of the 47 in 2k14. In 2k14 Showcase was the main mode so they focused the most amount of time on that while with 2k24 not only did they have to focus on showcase but also career mode, gm mode, universe mode, increased match types, larger roster, etc.

Really would've liked to see some more "recent" matches like Angle/Orton/Rey from Mania 22, Taker/HHH or Miz/Cena from Mania 27, Rock/Cena from Mania 28 and 29, Bray/Cema from Mania 30 and so on. However, as long as all the WrestleMania arenas are in the game then I've got no problem.
Not getting atleast one match from every wrestlemania is kinda disappointing, I can understand why and I also assume they took whatever Brock matches were in the showcase but I was really hoping to have every wrestlemania arena, atleast 17-current

They need to add more showcase matches or make it as it used to be for like WWE13, because Jesus I want them to finish off the Attitude Era Story or do the WCW flip side, I don’t really care about career retrospectives

Pretty complete list, although I feel that Bret vs Roddy is indeed the right match for Wrestlemania 8. Also Wrestlemania 9 could have been Bret/Yoko + Hulk winning at the end instead of Taker/Giant.

I know we're going to see the video footage, but they need to add the zip line in for that 1 entrance. Hopefully we're able to get the 40 years without having to spend 120.00$ . I'm tired of being all these dlc to just get then minus the arena the following release
I just hope they have it where you can use the different year as an attire so we have like bret hart 90 and then idk say bret hart 93 as an attire instead of having 5 different versions of some wrestlers with basically the same moves and ratings 😊

We should at least get key character of certain characters of said Mania matches. Like Steele, Shamrock, Orndoff, etc. I already see all those attires on Cena from WMN 36 as alternate ones. 2K better not make them separate Cenas, for the love of God. I wonder if pulling the straps applies to guys like Julius Creed, since he also does that, or is he gonna be overlooked because he's not a top guy.
Yes, it's confirmed. The allegations were made a few weeks ago, of course Vince was going to be in the game anyway since it didn't leave them enough time to take him out of the base game/Showcase mode, so the inclusion of that match is not surprising at all.

Only thing I wish 2k would do is fix da ring apron like when an opponent is slammed and da apron actual moves freely like da old games, they stop doin dat ever since 2k15. They make da ropes shake but not the apron
Eddie vs Angle and the Firefly Funhouse are exciting, but it's not a good selection of matches. I get things like they can't feature any of the WM 30 stuff because of Danielson/Lesnar issues, but only 21 matches for 39 events (and three for WM 39) is so poor. Added to that, the latest Wrestlemania's weren't that good and we got like half of the matches from the last 5 years.
@jeysmoothies dude they can easily do 40 matches. Shawn Michaels, John cena, batista, triple H & Taker you could easily cover ruthless aggression/Pg era matches.
I felt the same way at first. Then I realized: 1. If one match from each 'Mania was included, it'd be thirty-nine matches. WrestleMania 40 hasn't happened yet... 2. It looks like they actually put some effort into this release. As an annual yearly-series, more content probably would've been included if given a longer release window to work on it. 3. The can't blow their entire load all at once. They'll still need unused content for future games' showcase, so player's aren't seeing the same sh!t over and over again. 4. There're still _a lot_ of wrestlers on WWE's "Do Not Use" sh!tlist for 2K.
Man I wish there were more matches. I expected every single match we got in 2k14 plus the extra 10 Wrestlemania we are getting now but now it feels like “greatest WRESTLMANIA moments” instead of “40 years of WRESTLMANIA”. Which does kinda disappoint me because i thought we were getting an insane amount of matches but now I feel like we are back in 2K23 where they aren’t putting effort in the SHOWCASE like they should be doing. This kinda disappointed me and I just hope that we can have more matches confirmed.
@KINGKHAN Long Comment Incoming: I can understand your disappointment but we gotta realise that showcase aint the only mode in the game. Back when 2k14 came out there was only exhibition, showcase, universe mode, and create a story mode. Showcase was the main focus of that game so ofcourse there's more matches. Meanwhile with 2k24 You have a showcase mode, career mode, universe mode, gm mode, exhibition mode with more match types, larger roster, better graphics, etc. I just don't think its possible to have a 40 match showcase with 40 different arenas & multiple different wrestlers while still having to focus on all the other modes Especially in only a year from 2k23.
Damn right they did, I was worried they were gonna take buff ass modern Rock and change his hair and face like they did pre 2K22, Rock 98' always looked super jacked in those games which is inaccurate.
@@amaril.francis7862 They did that alot before 2K22, Triple H's Hunter Hearst Helmsley model would look too buff cause they used the modern model as a base, Kurt Angle '01 looked creepy because they just added hair to the Kurt Angle '06 model. In 2K23 the Jean Laul Leveque model looked noticably slimmer compared his Triple H's older models.
