@Smacktalks You didn't mention that MyFaction is having problems es well. I can't log into MyFaction and the User License Agreement pops up constantly and doesn't allow me to play MyFaction even though I agree to the Terms Agreement. The server keeps kicking me out of MyFaction even though I have internet access. I keep getting an error message which states "You must have an active Internet connection in order to access MyFaction." This is very frustrating and adds on to Patch 1.11 breaking the game for WWE 2k24!
For CAW mode, the tooth removal option reverts to default after you confirm it and some logos I applied onto shades don't show up in entrances or matches, even though they're applied in CAW. I've also encountered some clipping issues with the eyes and mouth where the eyeballs and teeth show through the skin.
Ai won't attack or grapple players on apron now an the a.i now runs towards the rope attempting to dive out but stops then trays over and over but never dives out now. Top rope moves to outside they will just sit up there and not dive anymore.
The amount of time I’ve wasted working around bugs and crashes in this (and every game) is inexcusable at this point. We only have a limited time in this world. Shame on me for wasting so much of it on this horrendously outdated series.
You know for a Development Team that looks Like Hard Workers and People you expect to Care about there Game This is Disappointing at this point I am starting to Wonder Who is Actually in Control of making These games.
All I know is that there are always bugs and glitches when video games are being developed. But i agree there is no excuse for the lack of fixes or the insane amount of patches. For DLC just leave it as the characters don't need so many fixes. Thats how you screw up games. Let the past 2K and EA games speak for themselves. Some were great till they messed them up.
Ever since the parch dropped I've been unable to use community creations *at all*, won't load most of the time, and when it does downloads are stuck at one percent for 20 minutes before the game kicks me out of cc and tells me there's a network error. This game is the best wwe game in years, please don't ruin it 2k
Same but my issue is it keeps asking me to accept EULA and so on, and then I accept them, but it doesn't register them as accepted so I've got no online features now. I guess the benefit is I don't get the MyFaction popup anymore.
I’m legitimately sad, 2k24 had the potential to be a top tier wwe game but they have screwed up at every turn, all focus after releasing the game going into what’s basically gambling for kids for content that has no effort, dlc spanned out way to far to “increase its lifespan” an entire dlc pack that contains only 1 person who has wrestled out of the five, and with every patch, this game slowly reaches 2k20 levels of broken, loading times now vs when the game came out is so much longer, scrolling through menus now has lag to it, community creations takes so much longer to get anything from, it all just makes me sad
I saw this myself this morning before I knew about the AI thing. I was doing single player Universe mode and I was in a tag team match with The Dudley Boyz vs. Judgement Day (Priest and Balor with Rhea set as a manager.) For the first few minutes everything seemed fine but then the JD members started doing weird things probably 3 or 4 minutes into the match. Randomly targeting other wrestlers, including their own partners, and seemingly wandering around the ring and ringside area kind of randomly. As the legal man I just stood in the middle of the ring for a good 30 seconds and the computer had completely lost interest in me. I wondered at the time, "Is the AI broken? This doesn't look right." This was definitely patch 1.11.
@masonbenson6993 That's sad if true, because I feel the game has made a lot of strides in the right direction with content. Adding extra characters regularly is awesome, and the addition of new weapons with each DLC pack is great
From the looks what I have been reading as far as the caws being messed up without the players' knowledge, I wouldn't ever be playing 2K24 again until they fix that degrading glitch, in which that issue looked ruinous.
Gore and Perkins have had a few issues with Royal Rumbles where the Number 30 entrant never comes out, I think that it also happened last year. I think that the entrant hud doesn't trigger on Ramp view so they often get lost on what entrant is coming out.
This stuff happened to me after the 1.10 patch & I hope they hotfix this asap! The AI is rather bad & before this patch I didn't think they was too shabby except maybe a few issues. Definitely broken. Rather confused on how TESTERS can miss this stuff ... 🤯
I don’t understand this company sometimes. One of the simplest things about making a video game, which 2k never seems to do before putting out their stuff, is PLAY-TESTING! Make sure your game works!
I had no idea that there were any issues with the game, so imagine my reaction when I load up a match and witness John Morrison bald. That was a sight…
The only problem that I get in 2k24 is when I download new custom superstars, some of their images will overlap with previous superstars I've downloaded. Everything else, well I haven't come across those bugs.
For me Royal Rumble's are absolutely broken... the last entrant never comes out anymore and for whatever bizarre reason, the third entrant is a clone of whoever entrant 1 is... so weird..
This is just appalling. 2K and Visual Concepts just need to admit they are out of their depth and leave this franchise for someone who can actually make games.
I’ve noticed a bit of a lag for Undertakers Tombstone Piledriver as well so when you do the move, it would have this quick animation glitch before the finisher is proceeding. Hopefully 2K could look into this as well plus other issues.
I've been dealing with the texture glitch on custom superstars for awhile. It really irritates me when something like that happens and ruins a perfectly good caw.
After patch 1.10 and 1.11 Royal Rumble matches duplicate superstars. I had two Bobby Lashley’s in my Rumble. The Ai in tag matches is terrible And the ai in casket matches doesn’t attempt to close the lid
Let me explain how gaming works, 2k is already working on 2k25 right now. They have a small team left behind to address any issues with 2k24. This entire game was finished at launch, DLC and all, it’s all like a complete puzzle when 2k removes the pieces they break the game apart and that’s what causes all the glitches, crashes and issues because the engine is not functioning the way it should when all its pieces are there. They instead give them back with every patch and update and charge you DLC as a result. That’s how they make more money for the next game, rinse and repeat. Why else do you think each update fixes some things and breaks others. It’s not till the last DLC/update does the game work as it should because all the pieces are put back as a whole and even then there are some lagging issues behind that they swear they fix for the next game until new ones emerge to become issues again leading into 2k26. Again rinse and repeat, gamers who buy their games are basically testers who pays them to test their games. Crazy as that sounds.
If the online servers are this bad on 2k25 I'm refunding the game n quitting WWE games until 2k gets better online software that actually works n doesn't break during an new update
@@BeastiezCyZ when the game is complete meaning with all the DLC included, the game will work as it should before they picked it apart. The game is taken apart at launch and parts of the code is added back as pieces throughout the lifespan of the game. The updates and patches are free, but in order for the game to be working as it should, it requires the DLC also to be added. Because the DLC is part of the games final code. You can play this game in November when it’s games lifespan ends without a single DLC bought and it will function fairly well but will not be to its fullest potential until everything is bought. Meanwhile while those pieces are missing the game will not function because the code has been tampered with. That’s why you see things fixed then broken then fixed, then something else breaks inbetween patches.
I like to add with myfaction in the game now they gotten a taste of the whole pay to win gacha like system so they focus more on their cashgrabbing part rather on the game itself. heck they even said it 2k has their own myfaction team (idk how big it is but they have one). If they removed that and made myfaction its own game, i feel like some of these bigger bugs and glitches would be more focus on but since myfaction gets that extra money outta the ones who throw money at it, i feel like this will be ongoing issue with the wwe2k games now.
You know its bad when Smacktalks brings out the darker tone background theme. 😂😭 This happens every year mid-life cycle, as the devs who do patches, are gone and only DLC makers are still around til the next game.
The one thing that still remains broken from last years game is the title graphics for which title is on the line for universe mode (the part where the belt shows up on the screen for title matches and then the name of the belt doesn’t show up) that’s been bugged/broken since last years game too with championships and not this game has broken title graphics when making belts too.
It's actually been broken since 1.08, that was the first time I experienced the glitch and they still haven't fixed it. It is a very frustrating glitch.
When I was playing as the headbangers, one of my opponents where outside the ring and my com partner just kept jumping up and down from the corner. It looked like he was confused and didn’t know if to go after the opponent or not
I wish before any game could be released it had to be completely finished and stable game but these days company's put out games and then worry about getting it completely finished or try to by patching it over and over and with the WWE 2K games it usually breaks more than it fixes things
I don't know how, especially with how some mod the game, 2K adding a few characters screw up the whole game THIS bad. 2K is beyond incompetent. I know the physics is messed up on many moves as well... HOW is that even possible? They have to have someone messing in files they shouldn't be messing with.

TO EVEN GET INTO A MATCH LET ALONE DISCONNECTION IF IT'S CAW vs CAW IT SOFTLOCKS THE GAME WITH A MESSAGE THAT TELLS YOU IT'S TAKING YOU BACK TO THE LOBBY AND THEN WHEN YOU CONFIRM THE MESSAGE JUST KEEPS POPPING UP I UNINSTALLED, THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE RELEASE AND LITERALLY NO ONE IN THE YT WRESTLING GAMING SPACE HAS SAID A WORD
They make one big mistake and now they’re messing it up? The game is still a great improvement over the previous games, 2K isn’t perfect but 2K24 has been a good game so far, it’s not unusual for 2K to have slip ups like this.
Something I haven't seen anyone mention the barricade Trons don't work properly of you put use apron video and Something idk if they can fix but Bray Wyatt doesn't have any of his custom Name plates on his entrance
IKR that's why everytime a 2k game comes out I invested money in Take Two stock and then pull the money out later when the price has risen from all those sells of the game lol. And People on WWE games reddit want to thumbs me down when I bring this to their attention that they are slowly becoming EA. That's why I'm getting money off them (2k and EA fan boys) since they don't want to listen and accept anything 2k throw at them instead of getting on them about how they're going to lose business with the things they are doing. So if people don't want to stop buying the games to send a message to 2k and EA that's cool. I'll just sit back and collect off the shares.
I don't have any of the updates and patches, just the base gane. The only issues I've come across are scrolling too fast through the WWE logos in the creative suite that causes the game to crash. The other thing I came across was playing in classic universe mode is the game not putting the Viking Raiders on any shows tag team division or my two created tag teams.
There is something crazy going on in Universe Mode where some of my created wrestlers who have hair are now bald. It doesn't matter if I go in and fix it, they are still bald. Also when I book matches and and then go out of Universe Mode, it doesn't same like it should.
Have you guys noticed that some of the move set you can’t add to a create a player, for instance, the somersault un prettier cannot be added to different create a wrestlers
Haven't been able to do anything online based in the game in the last 2 days. Got the EULA/Terms of Service screen maybe a half dozen times yesterday and anything related to online like CC or MyFaction just says there's issues with the servers or I'm offline. I've tried restoring licenses, reinstalling the game, quitting out and going back in. Nothing seems to want to work. And as you pointed out in the video, also got the insanely long load time just to get into the game.
I can’t access community creations at all. It just keeps telling me to accept the EULA terms when I already did that like over 10 times and still says the same thing.
The only thing I had was that it asked me to agree to the EULA and privacy policy after booting up and wouldn't let me go online until I did, even though I already did
I haven't noticed any of these things. I did a tag match in Universe and the AI was fine, the were tagging each other in and out and never attacked the person on the apron, same with MyFaction. Never had Royal Rumble problems I do AI a lot and never once have AI problems or glitches. I use the ramp camera too I've never had duplicate wrestlers come in or anything. The only Rumble I had was after the AI Rumble ended the game crashed, but that was before any of these patches. I'm sure problems exists, but I can only speak from my experience, which is none of these problems existed for me.
I’ve been experiencing cutscenes in universe mode just not loading… I select a rivalry action & it seems to especially be with any interferences… I select the rivalry action & nothing happens during the match but after the match it updates the rivalries (it usually tells me that these superstars are now in a rivalry & the changes that have occurred to each persons personality traits
I’m having issues still. First time buying 2k game. Last time I played a wrestling game was here comes the pain. Most of my downloaded characters are bald, tag team matches yeah they stay still after a while. Idk 🤷🏽♂️ if I’ll buy wwe 2k25
You forgot to mention that barricade tronsare still broken after many updates, this has been broken for 3 months now. Happens for all superstars that use apron trons as barricade trons like kane as example
How does this even happen? Do they not test patches before launching them or is that genuinely not possible? Surely if it’s tested then this had to have been done on purpose and if that’s the case I think we have to start a #2Kout movement
So not only am I getting errors before getting in the game, all my creation superstars are deleted, can’t get in community creations, and the servers wack plus ai thanks 2k feeling the love Update: my favorite creators, entrances, move sets, images was deleted also 2k I’m sueing at this point
I haven't noticed any bugs and AI issues in one on one matches but in tag matches, the AI either ignores the legal man or goes to the opposite corner and does nothing. First happened in Universe mode when playing as Punk and was teamed with McIntyre. Match was okay until I tagged in McIntyre who was AI. As soon as he was tagged in he just ran to the opposite corner and stood there. Same happened with a few other tag matches I played.
Also there's an infinite loading screen for online players when trying to load in with CAW, can you please tell 2k dev that this issue has been out since the game was out in march?? It's really frustrating.
I had an 8-man elimination match to debut Honky Tonk Man on Wednesday, and after the first eliminations (double-count out), all three members of my team were responding to my controller at once. Not sure if that's a new glitch or just a CPU limitation to so many characters at once
I'm playing an 8 man tag and somehow I'm controlling two legal men. So while I'm in the ring attacking with one, the other is usually ending up on ring side grabbing at nothing.
I actually noticed this in a match with eight people in the ring. The artificial intelligence comes out of the ring a lot and stays down a lot, and I feel that watching the matches, after it was very enjoyable, has become extremely bad.
I'd been playing a Universe mode using all unique CAWs, i'd used the WhatsTheStatus Advance Championship mod on ALL their entrances. This has now been patched out and they are all ****** useless now. Totally ruined my enjoyment.
I just tried a tag match and interrupted the entrance. My tag partner didn't leave the ring and we immediately got counted out and lost. Then the match didn't end and I had to force close the game because I also couldn't open the menu.
2K needs to take another year off to correct the game, add modes, revamp universe mode, and add to or completely change gm mode. I’m not a fan of the my career mode either tbh or whatever you call it in this game
