I LOVE how Hardy is coming along, and I can't wait to see what KO looks like when you put the rest of the tattoos on. I'd use one yellow and one green boot for Hardy. Since yellow and green ties in wonderfully to the rest of the attire. Maybe do like you said and paint the yellow boot to match the green.
