Fun fact: the development studio, THQ San Diego, consisted of former Midway San Diego devs (who previously made Thrill Kill as Paradox Development before being bought by Midway) and the producer, Sal Divita, also worked on WrestleMania The Arcade Game. So Max saying that All-Stars is the Blitz of wrestling games actually isn't too far off.

This video make me regret passing on this game for its cartoony style. Damn game looks more fun to play than any WWE game that's come out in the past 5+ years.

You guys NEED to play this again! I laughed so hard during both All-Stars streams. They were some of my favourites. :D I really want to see a WWE All-Stars 2 but I think it's impossible under 2K unfortunately. Imagine that, with today's WWE roster. Styles, Cesaro, Owens, Neville and I don't see why you couldn't have female wrestlers too and have intergender matches, like a fighting game. I think it's cartoony enough for the sponsors not to get pissed off (and WWE Immortals does it). Plus Zangief and King as guest characters. :P

the video game version of Ultimate Warrior does more selling in this video than he ever did in his actual career.

Only problems with all stars is how easy it is even on hardest difficulty and the lack of modes but it's overall great.

This is a game I wish we could get a Kickstarter for a sequel. All-Stars gameplay is pretty much perfect. Only needs an updated roster, better create a wrestler, some more gameplay modes and a maybe improve the entrances/victory poses and you got a 10/10 wrestling arcade game, my friend. Glad you're playing and enjoying this, Max. It's a gem that refuses to be snuffed out of existence.

OH MY GOD MAX PLAYING WWE ALL-STARS?? I agree it's my favourite wrestling game too! I never liked slow, clunky classic wrestling games but this...you can tell a new player the buttons and he's already there making plays and couch alliances(always known for ruining friendships since the dawn of time) in minutes! I honestly love this game, this didn't get very popular but I think it's a little gem expecially for the price :)

WWE All-Stars is essentially a better version of WWF Royal Rumble from Dreamcast/Arcade. That said, I recommend you play Royal Rumble with friends at some point, as it has hilarious jank like a Rikishi dance assist you can meter scam with.

Yea a lot of ppl slept on this the only reason we stopped playing was the fact that it took so long to play multiple matches cause you had to load everything over and over. Reminded me of the old school games by THQ that was the shit.
