Each wrestling match is like an NFL game and high impact. Wrestlers have every right to get that bag and get paid. They have a limit on the bump card. Swerve has said that HBK saw Swerve's potential but that he would have cordial conversations with HHH while Finn and a few others would have much warmer conversations. Swerve took that to say that HHH did not see "it" in Swerve. AEW as competition gives wrestlers leverage and WWE HATES that. Randy Orton talked to AEW and that made WWE give him a more expensive deal. Swerve was signed by AEW and has been brought along. Hangman understood and their fued has made Swerve a main guy. He has earned his money. WWE dropped the ball. It happens, Garcia is 25 and is a bright prospect. I remember The Continental Classic match where he was hanging with Danielson and they had a great match. Garcia can go in ring and has developed a tough nosed face persona. Garcia v MJF at All Out shows how highly AEW management thinks of Garcia. He has been brought along and has seized the opportunity to impress each time. Garcia has a future and Swerve has proven himself to be the present and at the top of the card. Congrats to both for getting pais.

There's no such thing as "contract tampering" in Wrestling. Its the stupidest term used in Wrestling. There's no CBA or Union in Wrestling. If Triple H wanted to, he could stand in the middle of the ring and say that he will offer Britt Baker $5 Million when her deal is up. It would put pressure on Khan but it's nothing illegal or malpractice. Plus AEW has "tampered" with people under WWE contract.
@ThePenandtheSword84
@ThePenandtheSword84 11 дней назад
Exactly. What penalties are in place if a wrestling promoter contacts a wrestler from another promotion? The action must not be wrong if there is no punishment in place for engaging in the act.
@JoeMazzullaaa
@JoeMazzullaaa 5 дней назад
@@alextorres-limon5548 contract tampering doesn't necessarily require a union or collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to be addressed. Even without a CBA, tampering can still violate existing legal principles like breach of contract or tortious interference with a contractual relationship. In professional wrestling, each promotion sets up its own contracts with talent, and those contracts often include clauses regarding exclusivity, non-compete periods, and other restrictions. If a rival promotion encourages a wrestler to break their contract or engages in discussions with a wrestler still under contract, the promotion being tampered with can pursue legal action based on those contract terms. While a union or CBA in wrestling could potentially offer more standardized rules and penalties for tampering across the industry (as seen in major sports leagues), it's not a requirement for legal recourse. Individual promotions can still protect their interests through civil lawsuits and the enforcement of contract terms, even in the absence of unionized labor or a formal agreement between promotions.

@@carlosbermudez1459 Wardlow is damaged goods and when was the last time Ricky Starks was on TV? And when or if Keith Lee comes back is Tony Khan really gonna do anything with him? My guess is that he'll be lost in the shuffle like a majority of AEW talent are So if Tony is not gonna use them or use them right then just let em go so can go to other places

I don't think Meltzer has any sources in WWE, but Swerve failed in all relevant business metrics as champion with record low attendance and ratings. But now he's getting a raise like that? He's not worth what Tony is paying him. These inflated contracts aren't a good way to run a business. It's bad for AEW.

Overpay Swerve is bad for business, I'm sorry but WHAT! Swerve is great since last year. At least he freaken show as champion until Logan, Roman, or Brock. Ugh, you can remove Vince off company, but you cannot remove Vince's tactics from WWE.

It IS bad for business because none of these people that AEW are throwing 7 figures to have meant a thing to profit. Swerve hasnt boosted ratings, Ospreay hasnt boosted ratings, Mercedes hasnt, the list goes on. The only star AEW has paid that much for that has meant anything is MJF. To compare WWE 4 years ago to today is also ignorant because it's literally owned by a different company now. Yes, Vince probably did offer guys 6 figures that didnt deserve it. Because Vince is a petty old man. Trip and the TKO heads know the value of talent because they understand ROI, which TK doesnt.

This is exactly what happened in every single sport. How is Aew going to justify these contracts without even breaking a profit? These are bad for the sport. Neither Will or Swerve is a draw in the U.S and neither is bringing any new viewers for Dynamite. WWE is 100% right about this. You can't use the measure of in ring work to create an overall worth. There is so much more that adds to you amd your companies value. Not bloated contracts. This is the equivalent of a bad sports team overpaying a role player

Dude-- WWE has been OVERPAYING so MANY of it's talent (who AREN'T and NEVER 'WERE' big draws, draws at all nor significant, if at all, 'needle'-movers) for DECADES!! Just because they 'could'and/or wanted to LOCK THEM 'DOWN'! Why "can't" ANOTHER company do the same?!? Especially 1 with even more CAPITAL than has the "E"! Seriously-- the BLIND AEW 'HATE' on videos like this is just OUT OF CONTROL 'SENSELESS'!!

Actually they do. That is why Swerve is in the World title picture. He wants to be on top. If he can be on top, in the second promotion or buried on Raw or Smackdown, yeah he is going with AEW, maybe if WWE gave him that 4 to 6 million a year contract, he might jump ship, but WWE probably wouldn't do it. Same with Garcia. Ospreay got a great deal with AEW and is getting pushed and it's been more than three weeks.
