I kind of want that belt now, but with wwe soon using the newer logo, I can't trust paying the money for this and getting it releathered. Before I know it, they'll update it
Wow im so disappointed in the V1 belt. I own V1 and complained after i received it the belt was loose and the screws that held the gold strip between the plates broke off. I called and was told i would have to resend it back on my own dollar. I ended up fixing it myself. I noticed that the hand craft detail in the back of the WWE was missing. V2 strap is way better! really like the way the center pieces bubble out great detail. Also the background behind the WWE is amazing! I pride myself on detail with wrestling and can not wait until I own the V2 belt. Thank you this video please keep me updated on any other finds on other belts.
Thanks for the video, Paul! =D I have a question for you. Does the V2 sideplates fit in the sideplate holes on the strap for the V1? I currently have a V1, and I really want to stay current with the sideplates. Seeing that the hardware for the inner sideplates are different between the V1 and the V2, I'm thinking that I'll have to put the V2 sideplates on the V1. Is that possible to do that without having to drill new holes in the V1 strap?
would it be worth it getting the V2 now considering WWE is changing probably gonna change the logo ? do you think they'll change the logo on the title or keep it ?

How's the quality on the straps? In hesitant on buying another because of the stiff quality from when I bought my spinner title.. I like this belt but I hate their quality
Would there be that much of a difference between the V1 or V2 once you have worked the old Paul Martin magic on the straps ?. Miffed about the screws on the side plates V2 will not fit the V1 . Wanted the Randy Orton plates when they came out .
They are both good belts and in essence are very similar belts. Its just the minor details between the two that make the differences. Both are good belts though :)
I would have stuck with the V2 if I was patient to wait for a releather. But I just picked up a releathered V1 with the texture between the W's which I think I will be very happy with
I JUST ordered the belt from the WWE website still waiting for it to come in. Which version of the belt do they ship as default? As there was not an option to chose nor does it specify which one they will send. Seeing this video has me worried that I am going to get V1 can someone help ease my mind?
Well this V2 is the first they have redone since the split with Figs Inc. I believe they will eventually release more updated belts though and I would expect them to be improvements over their Figs Inc counterparts.
You would think WWE would make the V2 better and make the sideplates screw into the front this time. And the V1 sideplate logos look better compared to the V2 imo.

I like how people are preferring the v1 even though everything on the v2 is so much more superior in comparison x3 Hopefully WWE will update all of their replicas
Figs Inc never owned the rights to any belts design. All the replicas they made the designs are owned by WWE & the classic belts, Winged eagle etc are owned by Reggie Parks.
Is it just me, or does the word "CHAMPION" seem to be much bigger on the version 2 than on the version 1? Not too sure if it's the angle I'm watching it, or that it really is the case. Still, this video clearly shows the big improvements that the Version 2 has over the Version 1...and so my desire to buy one of these bad boys continues to grow, thanks to this fantastic vid lol =)
It was slightly bigger but not by much. I think the angle I filmed at may cause it to look bigger. They are both good belts. I will be uploading a video of the version 3 which is out now which is also a good replica.
Daniel Vollmer replicas use fake leather, are mass produced, and have the trademarks on the back. Real belts use actual leather, hand crafted, and expensive.
another thing these belts are so over priced ...for what your really getting.. i stripped by undisputed V1 and gold leafed it and it came out so much better
