The main event was outstanding because it elevated Wyatt. He didn’t just win the WWE Title-he cleanly pinned Cena and Styles to do it. That made him really look like a major star. I liked Orton/Harper a lot because it was one of the longest singles matches that Harper has had and he showed how great he is. The three women’s matches all told interesting stories. They were great!!! And Naomi winning the Woman's title was a highlight for me because she would've won it from AJ Lee in 2013 but she injured her eye and stopped it from happening. The other matches were not that great or memorable, but that’s okay. I’m glad that American Alpha are still the tag champs and hope they can have a proper feud with The Usos now. I enjoyed the show a lot. Well done by the Smackdown brand.
Naomi deserves to be women's champion, but they pulled the trigger too soon. The should have had Alexa go over dirty, built up a rematch for WM33, and gave Naomi the title there.
Too too soon for Naomi. Naomi should've lost. Bad bookings by wwe. Before winning the title, Naomi should had more interactions with Alexa. More back stage interviews. More underdog situations. More taunting by Alexa. More..More..More..... Naomi is holding the title, but it doesn't feel special.
Ya Dun Goof'd Eh I'm fine with it. She gets to go in Mania as champ so that's good alternative. Plus she will get a fair few good weeks added on to her title reign.

Felt like a great time: She had all her fans behind her pushing for her to finally that title run she finally deserved We already gone through weeks into months of Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch Becky moved on to Mickie James due to tie ins with Alexa leaving Alexa free to defend Naomi has recently beaten Alexa twice giving her some leverage. Besides Nikki Bella who's doing her bit with Natyla , Naomi is the only face woman left on the roster. If they stalled for another 7 weeks things will have gone dry on one end or another.
Hubert Jackson it wouldn't have worked and even if they did manage to scrape by with reoranging things to make from 2 weeks ago to WM, the way the PPV will be booked would likely water down her victory. If she won there it would come off as "Naomi, wins SD Woman's championship" but gets wildly overlooked by what ever Raw woman's championship does or the whole show in general because we know it will be big and over produced. Instead we can have "*Naomi* Smackdown Woman's championship defends against Mickie James" now this is all assuming they even do two woman's title matches and not just cramb as many together as possible for a tag match or battle royal like they try to do every year.
Neither Goldberg nor Bork are in the same league as Kevin Owens. KO's reign has to end but why they have to give the title to a has been who whill drop it to a part timer is beyond me. It still hope their WM match will go on last, allowing me to switch off.
Leave it to the WWE to find a way to incorporate LED lights to the Chamber. I'm waiting for the day they start putting LED lights on the Championship belts.

After Cena got pinned, I love how Wyatt looks at Styles like "You're so fucked..." And Styles looks at Wyatt like "I'm so fucked..." Like, at that moment, Styles wasn't even trying to win, he just wanted to survive.
Desphinx They put Bray over like a million bucks this match, especially that moment with AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt stare down, AJ made Bray look like a total monster with that look of despair and the way AJ was fighting Bray like if he really was trying to survive rather than win.
Matthew Sorar let's remember that pro wrestling isn't always about the typical "1980's big muscle bound guys" getting pushed to the stars....would you say the same about Dusty Rhodes in his Prime in NWA as the Champion?

I would have loved Bray Wyatt to win the rumble and then Randy to win the the chamber so Bray would be chasing the title. That way it gives Wyatt his mania win and it gives Orton another title run

Its a tangled web that was weaved because Even tho Naomi was "injured"... she stepped in for Becky because Becky was injured at No Mercy.... I dont think Alexa Bliss was the initial flow of the title but she exceeded expectations..... but Becky & Alexa was pretty Dry.... Naomi's 8 years should outweigh Alexa's 3
#GOON I made it. Great review, JD. Smackdown has done it again with their exclusive pay-per-views. My analysis on Elimination Chamber: Naomi VS Alexa Bliss match was decent, and I agree with you JD. Naomi should've got it at WM33. Can you imagine the pop Naomi would've gotten if she won the title at Wrestlemania? Would've been a beautiful moment. Even though they jump the gun with the title tonight, I'm happy for Naomi winning the women's championship for the first time. There were a lot of spots that were botched, but didn't really alter the match in any way. Decent match overall, and I can't wait to see what Alexa Bliss comes up with to get her Women's Championship back. 7/10 Bray Wyatt winning the title was a fantastic moment. Him with the title is kinda cool to look at with the fireflies in the background. It's just epic. Baron Corbin looked like an absolute fool this match, with him dishing out End of Days to John Cena and AJ Styles, who from what we've seen on Smackdown, did not kick out of when he hit him with it. Come on, WWE. You could've did better than that. But the destruction of Dean Ambrose almost compensated for it. Still a very good match, and like how the chamber looks. I can't wait to see what they do next year. 9.5/10 Randy Orton VS Luke Harper had a clinic when it comes to hard hitting action. No fast movements, but aggressive hits and powerhouse moves instead. Definitely one of best matches on the card no question. 8.5/10 Smackdown #TagTeamTurmoil This match was hot to start, and then slowly started to get a little slow and methodical. Things got really questionable to me at the end. I thought for sure The Ascension were going to become new Tag Team Champions, but nope. WWE pulled the welcome mat right from underneath these guys AGAIN. These guys, along with The Vaudevillains and Breezango, are absolutely buried. It boggles my mind that they can't use these talents to their full potential. The Ascension, longest reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, The Vaudevillains, super over and got a win over The Revival back at NXT Brooklyn, Tyler Breeze, crowds loved him in NXT, and he was on the verge of becoming NXT Champion, and Fandango had a lot of fanfare and you can even say he STILL has fanfare with some people still doing his 'Cha Cha' dance in the crowd. I don't know what they're doing, but they need to fix the issue of these tag teams on both Raw and Smackdown, hopefully sooner rather than later. But overall, the match was decent, even though the ending had me scratching my head, but I understand what they're doing. You gotta build up American Alpha somehow, and this seems to be the only way to do it. 6/10 Mickie James VS Becky Lynch I went with Becky in this match because she's the new talent, and what better way to put the new talent over than with the old guard "passing the torch". Now I feel this feud is nowhere close to being over, so I can't wait to see what else they have for us. I feel that this match was just an appetizer and wrestlemania is the main course, so I'm gonna wait and see what these two have in store. 7/10 Nikki Bella VS Natalya I kinda wanted Natalya to win, but a double count out makes sense for the time being. I don't like double count outs when they're done wrong, but in this case, it looks like it's gonna build up to something more interesting for Wrestlemania. And that's the key. Everything is building up to WM33, which I felt the entire time I was watching Elimination Chamber. I can't wait to see what Nikki Bella and Natalya have to offer at WM33 because this feud is far from over. 7.5/10 Dolph Ziggler VS Apollo Crews w/ Kalisto I say with Kalisto because he was barely there. This match was... meh. Okay at some parts, but oddly enough boring to me. There was no fast and furious moments, except for when Kalisto came back, but we all know both Apollo Crews and Dolph Ziggler have athleticism and speed in their arsenal. Why they weren't using some of their best assets is beyond me. We didn't even get a standing moonsault from Apollo. It was just... meh, and having Dolph Ziggler lose, break Apollo Crews' leg, and walk out with a sadistic smile on his face was a pretty good moment. I'll give it that, but the match itself was a little underwhelming. 5/10 Elimination Chamber's Final Score: 8/10
I'm not a big fan of the bray Wyatt character but I can't deny this man was LONG overdue to receive the top singles title . Glad to see him be treated like a big deal , hopefully his character evolves and becomes more than the same stuff we've seen from him so far
JD i think the reason why Ziggler gets cheered because nobody cares about kalisto and crews, if it was a legit babyface like daniel bryan, then he would get booed.
WWE ruined Randy Orton in 2010 when they turned him face. Legacy should have turned face not Orton. And Orton should have won the Iron Man match in 2009 sending Cena to Smackdown.
It pisses me off how no one ever wants to give Ambrose the credit he deserves. Wyatt winning is huge, but Ambrose was by far the best part of this match. AJ and Cena were doing okay, kinda going through the motions, staying in the ring, and when Ambrose came out he kicked it into another level of intensity. That great move to AJ on the outside, the dive off of the pod onto Cena, and then he, AJ and Cena had a nice exchange. Ambrose used the pod the most, throwing people into the chain, smashing their heads into it. smashing AJ into the plexiglass on top the pod, leaping off onto Wyatt, he and Corbin basically took over the match for five minutes, had a great exchange whilst everyone else was sleeping on the outside, and dean took a hell of a lot of punishment, flying head first into the chain off of the top rope, going through the pod, getting beaten the shit out of by Baron against the chains. The match really lost a lot of steam once Dean was eliminated until the very end. People are so quick to bash Ambrose, what the hell does the guy have to do to get some respect and appreciation back.
The new chamber let the wrestlers take more risk than in other matches.Wrestling without the risk of not landing on bare grating must have been a relief.
Tonight's booking was like "what the fuck were you thinking" Shows just how unprepared WWE is for Wrestlemania. Despite the booking tonight though, the show was still great. 3 good matches and the rest being fairly decent with crappy booking.

I actually thought it was way too soon for Naomi to win the title because she was off TV for ages and then suddenly comes back to challenge and win the title but overall I'm happy for her.

Its pretty clear as day that Apollo Crews is now the modern day version of Rocky Maivia. He's a face that smiles too much who people hate for some reason. Hopefully that means that down the road he will be successful like The Rock became later on.
Not only did Bray get the victory but he also eliminated Cena that was probably even Johns idea. This is how you start to build a star. Congrats bray well deserved.

I became a Dolph Fan back when his character Ego was big as shit, when he was the "Show Off". He reminded me of the Heartbreak Kid when he had the body guard Diesel. That's all he is missing, I would love to see Ziggler/Corbin be a team and help each other climb up to the ranks, win a couple of tag titles then turn on each other for the WWE title.
I remember in 2014 when he was close but not close and how I basically over the last 2 years, lost all hope in Bray. I remember saying: "Nah, he's gone... what a waste..." Then this happened, obviously he has evolved and all but this was awesome. Pinned Cena and AJ Styles to win. What an accomplishment. #FollowTheBuzzards
I have to agree with you regarding Nikki Bella. She is no scrub on the ring and probably just as good as Sasha and Bayley. She has great timing and flows really well. She sells great and her punch looks real. She is better today than before her injury.

WYATT IS FINALLY CHAMP! Another pretty solid Pay Per View from the A Show! I wouldn't say it was phenomenal or anything, but pretty good. The main event was obviously the best. Hopefully we get Corbin and Ambrose for the IC Title at Mania, and I'm so happy for Bray Wyatt winning the gold finally! In this ppv i noticed the lack of mid card talent of Smackdown. Alexa Bliss is my favourite female wrestler in the main roster and i don't really like Naomi but i was ok with the tittle change, it's nice to see others get their oportunity. Overall the PPV was really good, i was interested in pretty much all the matches and enjoyed them all, but clearly the best moment of the night was Bray Wyatt wining the WWE Championship, i was split between him and AJ Styles and i loved the end between just both of them. Now i hope Bray wins at Wrestlemania. Thanks for the review, every week you give me hours of entertainment and i really apreciate it. #thankyousmackdown
On Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan said that Bray will be defending his title before Wrestlemania so it is not guaranteed and official that it will be Bray vs Randy at Mania. Also Alexa is getting her rematch before Mania too so she could possibly win back her title.
