I would say it's a tie between the Winged Eagle and Cumrin Big Gold!! I'm glad you mentioned that the V2 of the Winged Eagle has a better faux leather strap on it because that has always been something that has detoured us from getting one, but you may have changed out mind!! you can see why Hogan loved it so much. small (for him) yes, but honestly so was the WE. but the comfort aspect of the 86 is surely why. from what i have researched, hogan first got the original WE in the winter of 87, at a west coast house show from Reggie himself. But it didnt make its TV debut until Feb of 88. IMO.....i think this was partially because Vince wanted to make a big network TV splash, and commissioned new IC and tag belts as well, so WE was held off until then. But i also believe that Hogan also hesitated, because of his affinity for the 86.
That belt is amazing, for me my favorite classic belt is the block logo intercontinental title, and the Hogan 86 being my second favorite, WWE shop did an amazing job with this replica
i always loved that belt when i was young..use to make cardboard replicas of it..best looking belt of the day and still is today still holds its memories
