you know what i truly missed on these new Smackdown vs Raw games.... The fighting stances ...to see the style and the personality of the wrestler.... The freerun in storymode like Shut your mouth , or even the create a taunt, and MAKE A CREATE A DIVA STORYLINE FOR GOD'S SAKE

"weather or not next year will bring a significant overhall remains to be seen" LOL, it's like he knew they were going to make a significant overhall. BRAND NEW WEAPONS PHYSICS FTW!!!!! As well as the ability to turn where you want your wrestling move to go. AND a few changes to matches like Hell in a Cell & TLC

Well I just bought 2010 yesterday and so far I am ENJOYING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! I played 2011 & 2012 and really didn't stick on to it as much. 12 may have a big roster and great effects but it just didn't get me too interested. 11 was better than 12 in the creative work but it didn't feel as enjoyable as 09. Soooo... I say 2010 is more entertaining.

The last WWE game I enjoyed Roster wise. Every game that followed after this wasn't good enough for me to replay them again.

how much space does this game take on the PS3? i was wondering because i am considering of renting it

Personally '06 was my favorite, but 2010 is much better then '07 - '09.

Great, honest review, and I definitely agree with that last part.. Some time or another Yuke's have to throw their long-lasting engine away, and make a new start.. That's really what I think the fans would see.. Also, they could stop releasing the games yearly.. It would be a bit of a risk, but if they focused in about 2 years on an entire new game engine, better sound effects and graphics, and instead of releasing a game after that, they'll just update the game's roster etc until it gets old

wwe is about how many years u spend in it and how much u r loyal to them. they will promote u along the years u stay there. just like undertaker he spend 18 years in wwe so he got more respect than anyone. he gets the belt. he is known as the beast. it doenst need training. the wwe decide everything. the more time u spend the more respect u get...

when he talks about the computer and one on one when they just stand there after an irish whip cant you just change the difficulty setting to fix that? normal they do just stand there but on hard they do a little more

For everyone complaining about the game being the same, get over it. Its a sports game (a fake sport, but still a sport). Sports games are the pretty much the same with roster changes and a few changes, like madden. If THQ did overhaul the game they complained it way too different. I like the games.

should i get this or EA sports MMA? Maybe both?

@metalfan0125 I agree, if you ever played Smackdown shut your mouth, that was amazing. you could go backstage, in a parking garage, and even a boiler room, but during story mode you could unlock more areas to play. Now the games werent as fun as they used to be. In SvR 2011 they should bring that stuff back. And bring back the I quit match.

If THQ tweaked the fight system. If they made it competitve and fun at the same time. Key word COMPETITIVE!!!!!!!!!! It feels like ever since Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth the competition went downhill. Create mode is AMAZING. But in the end, all I wanna see is the stories. I don't really feel like actually fighting in this game. So I'd like to see the fight system in general be upgraded. It sucks that we went from dragging opponents backstage and in crowds to no longer being able to do it.

2:54 i remember doing that match in the created superstar road to wrestlemania that match pissed me off and took me like 30 minutes to complete

dude they never use too much strength. its their opponent jumping and lifting himself. what about the jackhammer? do u think goldberg is lifting them with his strength. yes maybe 30% the rest his opponent does. They talk to each other in the whole match telling each other what to do next... even referee lol

HEY! NO!! NO!!! General Manager Mode was how some people say "THE SHIT!" The gameplay wasn't as great as the newer games but General Manager Mode was what kept its replay value! Just my opinion...

If you want a tougher match, you either do have to go online, or go to options, put it on Legends difficulty, make reversing all the wayat hard, boom! You got a decent match.

I just got this game on sunday and it is truly amazing for a wrestling game so much content.The only con I have so with it is the laggy as fuck online gameplay.I have the ps3 version.

what i didn't like or under stand in the RTW is to face santino you have to the royal rumble why ?? if i won the rumble i should face a world champion should have been a battle royal in stead and i really liked edge RTW but i didn't like the last match edge vs mr kennedy when it's really hard to ecape and i done it twice and kennedy alsways get out first and yoy got th spear him and he reveses you :(
