14 years of evolution, how the game has changed after WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2010 , I'll show you now. Like and write a comment. Game: WWE 2K23 (PC) My PC: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, RAM: 64GB DDR.
Everybody has their own opinion but in my opinion in the newer games the moves look more real In the older games A little overdramatic It was good for its time
The graphics and technical gameplay of today's WWE, with the slow motion and action cameras of the older games. It's WWE afterall, style over function, always
Look at some finishers man. Back in the day they were really devastating moves. Since WWE'12 they are trying so hard to be realistic but almost missed the point every time. Modern day WWE games animations are too extra but in a bad way. (imo) 1:36 Rock Bottom 1:49 wtf is this? It's not Rock Bottom, it's laying down peacefully. 2:20 Pedigree. SvR 2010's Pedigree is just a thing of beauty while WWE 2K23's don't even jump, it's just arm hold face buster. 2:43 Trouble in Paradise looks like a beautiful 540 kick while WWE 2K23's version of it is just a goofy cartoon kick. 3:39 Batista Bomb looks good in SvR, in 2K23 it looks like Batista gave up hitting Batista Bomb midway and decided to put him back. I know some people will say "oh it's not that deep" I know it's not and I'm not even over analyzing. New moves are not impactful like they used to be. Some people may prefer new ones and I totally respect that. It's just that I wish when they add new move they don't delete older one. What's the logic behind this shit? Also, sounds are very very important. Some finishers doesn't even feel like finishers with bad sfx.
They can make some of the older animations sellings smoother and that's it. Some moves look really bad in older games tho, I mean look at GTS. It looks so bad.
