That main event was brutal to watch. I've always said I won't crap on Undertaker for wrestling. In my eyes he's earned the right to call it quits when he feels like it. He can hardly move and it's sad to even seem him be a shell of his former self. I hate to say this but it's time. I hate to see Undertaker like this.

The WWE Championship has yet to main event a co branded PPV ever since the Brand Split started back in 2016.

I didn't care to even watch this show. The more informed fan, this was a glorified house show but they did a somewhat decent job to make fans think certain events would happen on the show. Solomonter's video is what I've been waiting on because he's my go to for event reviews. Happy birthday Solomonster.

I too think that Shawn shouldn’t come back for this type of thing. And I feel like if he does have a return match then he’s most likely sadly doing it for the money offer. If he wasn’t doing it for the money then he would’ve just wrestled AJ in 2017. Now that is a reason to come back, not for money but for the fans and because AJ is worth it.

Well it's not like the "Old Guys" main event all PPVs, but they need them for the international appeal still, obviously thos Saudi Shows and Australia for the first time in a long ass time are new markets that still grew with the biggest names of the past 10-20 years, so the people there who aren't as hardcore will want to see the heroes of their childhood for this probably once in a lifetime show. Also don't act like seeing Hulk Hogan return in the 2000s hadn't been a thing, that was basically the same

In 10 years it'll be John Cena vs Randy Orton for a big overseas show. I agree that WWE is in for that rude awakening but the thing is when that happens, Vince McMahon will be dead and it won't be his problem. Vince is just throwing the old guys out there now because he doesn't have to do anything to make the match a draw, it's a cash cow that he can milk and milk until Taker, HBK, HHH look like the Crypt Keeper. Now if there was a WCW type promotion today in the US, you would see more emphasis on the full time guys who are younger, but that's not there anymore and for as good as New Japan and ROH are, they can't compete with WWE. WWE just grew so big nobody could beat them, but now that WWE has sat fat and happy knowing they got no competition, they got rusty, rested on their laurels, and buy up the best wrestlers in the world and instead of making them huge stars, they send them to catering, make them dance, or make fun of them.

Happy Birthday Jason. My heart goes out to you on everything that has gone down this year, but I hope you do have a great day and can celebrate with your friends and fans. I just want to say that you are a fine man and you have earned my respect with your attitude in life. You keep on doing the best you can in your life and you don't complain about it, even though you got more than enough right to do so. My hat is off to you. I did not see the show, but I heard from people who were there, people seemed to enjoy it but no one thought it was anything grand. The Bryan Miz match was received very negatively, many people thought it was a botch finish at first. Best matches seemed to be Murphy vs Cedric, Undertaker vs HHH and Becky vs Charlotte. I might watch the replay on the network if I can be bothered, but no promises. I completely agree on your statement towards the end. There is a big issue with reliance on old talent and just this lack of wanting to invest in younger talent. The current roster does NOT feel special at all. It's like you'd ask a person who vaguely knows of wrestling who Undertaker is, they know. You ask who Seth Rollins is, they have no clue. Ask them who Steve Austin is, they know. Ask them who Drew McIntyre is, they never heard of him. Ask them who Kevin Nash is, they know. Ask them who Roman Reigns is, they don't know......and he's WWE's top star. Yet the average casual fan who watches maybe one show every now and then would not know who he is. Why is this? Since 2005, WWE has invested very little time and effort into their younger talents. They have kept relying on older wrestlers like HHH and HBK to draw money. To this day they still keep relying on old talent. Call up the Rock, let's bring Goldberg back, try and convince Sting to come out of retirement, try and bring back HBK, try and get Ric Flair to wrestle one more match. For some reason WWE feel that the young guard just cannot draw and so they desperately rely on old talent to come back and save them. This is not a good thing in any way, shape or form. But why? That is the question.

0:24-0:34.; I remember watching that event with a friend of mine after it came out on DVD & VHS. Albeit we already knew about the event & I already knew what the results of it were because I read them on the internet, the following day, it was still fun to watch.

Regarding your rant at the end, if in the Attitude Era you had Hunter Hearst Helmsley undercarding against Mean Mark with Issac Yankem or Fake Diesel or whatever in his corner, and the Ringmaster is US Champion not being booked on the show and Rocky Maivia is world champion... do you think they'd have to bring back Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund then? Instead of giving up on their performers it's better to see what they can do.

WWE said it a few years ago. Superstars like Rock and Austin and Hogan became superstars bigger than the product themselves. People paid money just to see them. And even were as excited to see the New Age Outlaws or to see Kurt Angle or the Hardy Boyz or even Too Cool and Val Venis. WWE do not want to push anyone bigger or better than that. It's about the product now. Anyone who remotely gets over on their own gets tarnished.

I don't think you can be any more on point when you are talking about the case of WWE needing new stars. It's a fantastic reason that contributes to me not watching WWE content anymore ( or at least barely; I watch some stuff online but I dont watch television, and i dont have the network)

I really am a mark for Ronda Rousey, every thing she does is extraordinary from her entrance, to her selling and to her intensity. It is only a matter of time before she is an entrant in a Royal Rumble match. Hell, the way that Rousey is booked, I could see her winning a Rumble match.

Styles and Joe were great, even though Joe should’ve won. Taker vs HHH was exactly what it needed to be. Other than that, it was pretty below average. Especially after just watching the New Japan show in Long Beach

In 2k19, they have a great system where you can assign more than the just two men's titles, a women's title, and a tag title to each show. Now you can have two more titles. So I've always wanted to do this. I got rid of 205 Live. Now all the cruiserweights can show up on Raw, Smackdown, and Nxt. I then created a junior heavyweight title like in NJPW (weight limit is 220lbs). I also combined the tag titles into one title and I combined the world titles into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It somewhat follows the NJPW formula. I'd be happy if HHH took over in real life and did something similar. The cruiserweight division sucks. It needs star power. Make it a light Heavyweight division and allow guys like Finn Bálor, Daniel Bryan, etc to compete for the title. However, they wouldn't be stuck in the junior division, they'd be allowed to compete for the heavyweight title if they would like. This way, the junior heavyweight title can be treated like it is in NJPW.
