Electric. This is the best shot of this that I've seen. Four minutes. Four straight minutes of the audience going insane and he never even left the entrance. Amazing.
Leaving the arena was quite the atmosphere, everyone was buzzing about what just happened. Even after he left most of the fans just stood there in a shock and awe type thing

@@KarlPilkington89That's why I didn't believe anybody else I was like no I aint going for that he's gonna return to aew nope. I already know he's gonna show up in a surprise. 😎💯
From the UK, MASSIVE respect to Chicago!!!!! Every event in that city the noise they generate is unrivaled. They are on always on it. Would love to witness an event there one day.
The fact everyone is wondering if Rollins’ rage was a work or not, is why Pro Wrestling is so fantastic. Whenever they can blur the line between fiction and reality, that’s where the magic truly is!
@@rileyk5228I'm fairly confident it was a workshoot. If rollins didnt know then Hunter must've wanted a genuine reaction from Seth that can be made into a storyline

@@Fernando17892 nope. Sorry sport. They deserve total credit for the moment they gave the fans tonight and for reaching an agreement to go forward. Something AEW had the chance to do but wouldn’t. Anything can happen in the future - botches, injuries, poor writing, etc…and in fact in wrestling it generally does- seldom are things perfect….but they are going forward and trying. That’s all one can ask of punk, wwe, or the wrestlers there. Great job all around - that’s what maturity is, that’s what putting the fans and the industry first is. “Punker” lol… so triggered and childish. I’ve seen exactly ONE CM Punk match so it’s not like I have any emotional attachment but I applaud Punk and WWE for this, and I watched the absolutely absurdly juvenile behavior or Khan and the Bucks. I’m an adult - I have no time for that.
@@datacipher AEW did all they could with CM Punk. Gave him his own debut episode, his own 2 hour show, kept anyone he didn't like away from Collision. They literally bent over backwards for him TWICE and he spit in their faces TWICE. CM Punk would never have come back to WWE if Tony Khan didn't convince him to come to AEW first.
@@mcq2879 Did all they could? Didn’t ever force everyone to talk - and they say Punk was willing, with a meeting even scheduled. Leaving him abandoned at an airport? Allowing a mid carder to shoot disrespect him publicly? The EVP’s with no disciplinary repercussions? If you think that’s how Vince McMahon or HHH or Steph - or the Harts (who I’ve met and know) would have handled that, then I can’t help you.
apparently showing the copyright logo before punk's return was HHH's order and he took control in the last mins of wargame, so even the production team didn't know
@@damont5487I heard triple himself limited people who knew about punk's return, and they told staffs in last minuets. but I'm sure seth and sami were told too. bcz both of them were staring at ramp before punk's music
It’s hilarious to think that Chicago has been blessed with this man returning 2 separate times and the second time somehow kind of hit harder than the first
For sure! I wasn't at the initial aew debut for rampage at United center but was at collisions first show with his return and that most definitely did not have the impact of this being there live
@@AN-filmandmusic I wasn't at the first time punk appeared in AEW in Chicago but I was at collision for the first episode in that wasn't much of a reaction compared to the one this past weekend. Honestly I've been to multiple WrestleMania's and I've been to a lot of big events and the pop. The surprise pop I should say, was second to none than anything I've ever been a part of myself. That place was beyond unlued and maybe it was just the way that Allstate Arena is set up but it was so loud in there. It was just a moment. I'll never forget

@SuperRedJed bro the first time i watch an aew show on tv when the tell me when im telling lies promo... I knew when he remove the aew logo in the mic hes gone @ aew and looking for the right time when he will finally said to tony fuck it im gone and it happen of all places in wembley Im from the philippines we have many punk die hards here
They say never say never in the WWE. Triple H has always been amazing at burying the past and letting it go and making amends and rebuilding bridges with people. With all the sadness we have in tragedy this year due to Bray Wyatt's death.. which sadly will overshadow this year everything no matter what happens. I am so happy that tonight we got 3 huge returns in Randy Orton, R-Truth and CM Punk. All 3 of them deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame... Randy is a lock.. CM Punk might be now as long as he doesn't have spats with anyone... and R-Truth I hope is due to the fact he's god damn R-Truth.

I honestly can’t think of a city that loves their hometown wrestler like Chicago and I’m from Memphis and know I what the king means to Memphis but we ain’t got nothing on Chicago’s love for cm punk.
that is why people love him He knows how to attract fans and the public with ease and make them talk about him At all times there will never be anyone with as much fame and popularity as CM Punk despite the problems he created, but we still love him appreciate him and respect him
@@BoostAlmightythey’re die hard wrestling fans and CM Punk exemplifies who they are as people. It makes me love the city of Chicago as a fellow New Yorker
I stood up to put the lead on the dog to take her for a walk when the trademark logo came up. I then turned around to face tv in shock when this happened. It's very hard for pro wrestling to shock a 34 year old man like this these days but this was excellent
Cm punk blew the roof off at survivor series🙌🏼🙂save the best for last!!! CM PUNK CM PUNK CM PUNK CM PUNK!!! CM PUNK CM PUNK CM PUNK CM PUNK!!!🙌🏼🙂😎🙌🏼He's BACK! FiNALLY!!!🙌🏼
I legit walked away from my tv to use my bathroom and heard the static and the fans going crazy thinking the show was over! Amazing ending!! I’m still excited to see him back!
You guys in Chicago're AMAZING! I love how much you love your own stars like CM Punk. You're similar to us here in Argentina 😅. Sorry for my rusty English.
Yeah as you can see there was some interaction going on between the two. Question is if it was work or shoot. But I'm assuming very next to nobody in the company. Legitimately knew that Punk was coming back tonight and I suppose that could legit ruffle some feathers.
@@SuperRedJed its very obvious the they are gonna be fueding for the title lmfao. Like Seth has said he is the best in the world before and now Cm punk about to make him stfu lmfao.
@@SuperRedJed considering the fact that Seth is flipping Punk off and shouting "Fuck you" at him while Michael Cole and Corey Graves help hold him back.. very unlikely that its a work. pretty sure the fed is still PG
Call me a softy but the best part of the video has to be 0:25 when Dad in the bottom right, out of pure bliss, pulls his boy up to watch!! The dad's smile... the excitement... the crowd. I can assume the kid does not fully understand what the heck is going on but he definitely will remember this moment with his dad for the rest of his life!
