@@iceteasahne physique has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Adam Cole is easily one of the best wrestlers in the world and could easily have been a top guy on the main roster, but Vince didn't want that because he came from the black-and-gold NXT which instantly made Vince want him to fail. You think Vince was going to push him on the main roster? That's the reason Adam Cole left and went to aew, and he saved himself from being disrespected by terrible creative.
I remember when the 4 of the held all the gold in NXT now they're scattered in the wind. Fish in TNA, Cole in AEW and badly concussed, O'Reilly in AEW and has a broken neck, and Strong in NXT. And who can forget the 4 war games matches.
Best faction tbh can’t name a faction everybody loved at every time nobody ever said I’m tired of the undisputed era just Bobby getting injured 🥹 this was literally the era that made me love wrestling again
@@iceteasahne Well for one, the nothing AEW did with him (you know, besides feuding for the world title immediately, and being setup in a long term feud with some of the founding members of the company), was STILL better than the prospects he had moving up to the main roster in WWE back under Late Stage Vince, who would have had him being a manager under a different name. Secondly, the "buffoon" who injured Cole was either Kazuchika Okada, or Jay White, neither of whom even work for AEW because it was at Forbidden Door which is a crossover PPV. Either way, blaming either one of them is like blaming The Undertaker for the cell collapsing against Mick Foley, or whoever Big E was facing when he broke his neck. In all of these circumstances, it was a freak accident not caused by anything other than the fact that wrestling is a dangerous business, and shit happens. He could have just as easily been injured in WWE, it's just a roll of the cosmic dice. I'd say all things considered, Adam still made the right decision. After a few months of managing some ridiculous Vince pet project he probably would have been released and ended up in AEW anyway.
This is streets ahead of the theme Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!) has in AEW. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they hired Jimmy Hart to make a rip-off version of this.
I wish nearly all of the NXT greats had done it like this, arrive, be driving force and a draw for the entire run and get the Hell Out of WWE before Vince could destroy them on the main roster. Now that Vince is gone, would love to see them all back.
it's hard to pick but Roddy was definitely the better pure wrestler followed by probably Kyle Bobby could have been great but he's body was sort of beating up most of the time so it probably goes Roddy Kyle Adam Bobby
I think the one mistake they made with Adam Cole was not pulling the trigger on a babyface turn from him against The Elite right away, when he was still getting the hot babyface reactions. Given who was involved, we can guess why that never happened... Gotta say though, I've never been impressed with O'Reilly. But he became diabetic? I hadn't heard about that, I thought he had a shoulder injury or something. As much as I don't like him as a wrestler, I wouldn't wish that fate on him as a person., very unfortunate.
I miss the Undisputed Era so much! Adam Cole is thriving in AEW but he should’ve gotten pushed more in WWE. He had so much potential! All of the Undisputed Era are in AEW. If Adam Coles contract at AEW expires and Tony Kahn doesn’t pay him enough he should definitely return to WWE in the Royal Rumble with this theme or his AEW Theme.
Cody us the embodiement of bet on yourself. First WWE run, joke gimmick after joke gimmick until he was done being Stardust and wanted to be taken seriously. They said no, and he walked away. Cody then traveled the world, woeming NJPW, TNA, NWA becoming a name even when ge couldnt use it. He then bet on hinself agaim when he answered the challange of Meltzer and did the first All In, and beat the doubters. He then formed AEW but when theu wanted Cody to drop the babyface shtick and be a dasterdly heel, he said no amd left. Came back to WWE, betting on homself that he can be a top baby face, and now he has made it big, his bet paid off and now he is the firat ever Rhodes to be WWE Champion, beating the biggest heel chamoion, the biggest box office draw, on the biggest stage of them all
