The head sculps are amazing and the sting for sure would have push that crowd funding to becoming a reality . Sad that we would never see that stage come to be.

when i first saw the notifacation i was like “YES MATTEL CAME OUT WITH A STING ULTIMATE” and then i heard custom and was like aw man.

i was like when was this announced? then it's a custom good god this is damn amazing

Great figure! Really cool, and hopefully some day we can get that from Mattel. I would think with his impending retirement Jazwares will be releasing a few NEW Sting figures (although knowing Jazwares, they'll probably just be more repaints from his first luminaries fig...). There is no reason why we can't get a damned Supreme Sting, as the AEW Supreme figures are pretty good. They could do a 2-in-1 with Crow Sting and Surfer Sting, do 2 crow head scultps, 1 blond flat top surfer sting sculpt and 1 brown hair surfer Sting sculpt. Throw in his classic neon tights leg mold and obviously a trench coat, a Surfer Sting jacket and BOOM! Instant classic.

Thats crazy. I couldnt believe the heads are just repaints. They look like brand new perfect sculpts and the scorpions are more crisp than Id expect from a high quality important. Just awesome.

I was really hoping AEW would make a Surfer Sting before his contract runs out with them. Plus I was hoping AEW would do a 80's version of Arn and Tully too. But they didn't. All we got was Owen Hart (which was cool).

The later WCW head sculpt is amazing. I also love the detail on the singlet.

Having a 'whoo' face would be great as well

Yeah, *this* is the Sting figure I want! I didn’t buy any Mattel Stings because I was waiting for them to get to that combination of tights and hair and jacket. I wonder if an AEW Supreme would be able to do that or if since it was a WCW look it’d be dependent on him signing a deal with WWE and letting Mattel take another crack?

Sting is my favorite wrestler hands down. I was a little Stinger as a kid. I had blonde hair and the same flat top hair cut. I was obsessed with Sting my whole childhood. That being said I pray he signs a Legends deal, because I NEED some Ultimate Surfer Stings in my life!

Aew sting figures have been.... Horrible, absolutely horrible. So I'm hoping that Mattel makes all of the stings as soon as he's on a legends deal

Mattel really missed the ball with the figure selection on the Nitro crowdfund. Should have gave us a '99 Steiner, Blue Jeans DDP, no hogan or warrior, Harlem Heat and Raven if possible.
