Absolutely right. You don't have to be a monster, but you do need to look in shape. Just look at AJ styles when he returned, jacked. Cole looks like he just popped off the couch.
The problem is Adam Cole and guys like the Dumb Bucks have a major issue in believability. As much as people say "size doesn't matter", it does. Especially in a business where you're asking your audience to suspend any disbelief and buy into people. You don't need to be 6'8 and 350 lbs but you also can't look so weak that a surly gang of middle schoolers can kick your ass. Honestly, if Adam Cole or the Bucks came up against 7th graders on a tear, my money's on the kids. I'm guessing a few of them easily outweigh Cole and the Bucks combined.
And failing that, they couldn't even be bothered to teach the audience that Adam Cole could convincingly beat bigger opponents in a meaningful way. Is he just so technically sound that he can stretch a man 1004 ways? Is he a ruthless rabid honey badger?

Funny when Randy Orton came back from an injury and did not use steroids Vince McMahon openly mocked him saying it looked like he had a roll of dimes for a neck on live tv. RAW 5/16/2005. Nah... But even if he was you wouldn't know because he's so fragile. He's been out forever. Before he broke this most recent time, he was hurt before that for a long time. Not only does he look malnourished, he's easily breakable.
Because Vince has them brainwashed into believing everyone has to be steroid jockeys. If that's the case then I shudder to think what would happen if they watched MMA. Just once i'd like to see someone think for themselves and not have Vince's hand up their ass.
You have never seen a shoot Wrestling match, have you? it's suppose to be about seeing who's bigger, stronger, who has broader shoulders and stronger core strength. Doing some flips and cartwheels inside the ring is what is killing the business of pro wrestling and making it fake. A guy like Adam Cole and Gargano who'll get squashed in any real fight has no business pretending to be a wrestler

I disagree bc of the character. MJF is a chicken shit heel. Remember how stone cold was scared of Bret and when The Rock was scared of Stone Cold. Depending on the type of heel, it’s completely awesome if he runs from a baby face. I’m okay with bc it’s consistent with MJFs character.
It does! Size makes a wrestler look believable. But yes being over sized is also not good at the same time. Does Adam Cole beating someone like Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns look believable? Absolutely not! It's not just coz of their accomplishments or bankability, but it simply doesn't look logical and believable. Wrestling is indeed scripted that doesn't mean you book stupidly. Roman inspite of having Leukemia, he bulked up and added up extry body mass to look more stronger and like a dominant champion. He dint had to do it but he did some hard work at the gym. Adam Cole must be a lazy guy! He is least interested in improving his Physic. Not that if he does some extra hard work at the gym, he would look like Lesnar or Bobby Lashley coz they are built different. But at least he can look way better or at least like Cody Rhodes or Andrade which is still better anyday than looking like a guy who is skinnier than an average human
I hate Vince's mentality. But Cole looks sickly/malnourished. You don't need a big man fetish to realize he needs to workout at least a little to look the part.
