Goldberg actually met his wife on the set of that Santa movie. She was a stunt performer and didn’t know who Goldberg was. She actually thought she was going to be working with Jeff Goldblum.
Be cool was by far the best acting the rock has ever done. If you have not seen it you need to watch this sequel to get shorty and as not as good as the original but the rock makes it, it's own film. Also Scott halls western is worth a look.
The movie is actually pretty bad. I don't think F. Gary Gray really understood what the book was about. Instead, he took some bits as inspiration for his key set piece scenes and essentially does "Get Shorty, but the music industry". You look at Get Shorty, Jackie Brown and Out of Sight, and they do a great job of putting Elmore Leonard on film. For Be Cool, it just felt like Gray was just trying to replicate what worked the last time, plus add in a Travolta/Thurman dance. With that said, The Rock is the best part of the movie, and feels pretty natural. Should be no surprise though, as Leonard partially based Elliot on The Rock. And Gray has of course gotten better as a director since then.
There was even an outtake for Fast and furious 9 where John Cena mentions his gimmick by saying "Otto did you say you can't see me? I told you never say that to me ever you understand me son of a b***h. Damn it can't see me is bulls**t"
My favourite has to be the wrestler Michael Morbius in the Movie Morbius playing Dr. Michael Morbius when he said his iconic wrestling catchphrase, "It's morbin time!"
Damn, outside of the ones with the Rock in them, I've never heard of none of these movies. Lol. And even tho it's not a "catchphrase, The Rock has done the Rock Bottom in a few of his movies
Do you no in the film fighting with my family the Rock can you smell what the rock is cooking trough the phone and I suggest fighting with my family it very good
I want to see all the WWE wrestlers in one big movie and i'm not talking about that shitshow released by Netflix, please, i don't want to see Otis farting
Man big money hustlas is still funny till this day I love that movie its one of my favorites twizitd makes that moive hilarious big stank and little poot hell yea majik majik ninjas what
John Cena stole his "you can't see me" catchphrase from Snoop Dogg, he was saying that way back in the 90's, and 2pac has a whole song named "You Can't See Me" he stole the five knuckle shuffle too, it's really just a bad version of the Harlem Shake.
The daughter on a baby the whole game sometimes pickle hunting David freaking me out I'm a pickle card drink that I made it freaking me out you can't see me
I think you're being a little loose with what it means to be in the WWE. ICP were never in WWE. They made celebrity appearances in WCW and WWE and even did some of the theme songs, but that doesn't make them in the company.
