WWF Judgment Day: In Your House took place on October 18th 1998. The event was headlined with a unique WWF Championship Match; Undertaker vs Kane. Stone Cold Steve Austin would serve as the referee for this match and Vince McMahon guarenteed that Austin would be humbled by the time Judgment Day ended - Austin had to either raise the winner's hand, or he'd get fired on the spot.
Elsewhere on the card, The Headbangers get a shot at the WWF Tag Team Titles when they face The New Age Outlaws, The Rock and Mark Henry square off in a match that signifies the end of The Nation stable, Mankind gets an oppurtunity to win the Intercontinental Champion when he faces Ken Shamrock, and D'lo Brown defends his European title against X-Pac of D-Generation X.
This video is part of the Reliving The War series.

That's not cheesy at all. I was unfortunately just a bit too young for this era but everyone knows how amazing it was, its good to relive old memories like this. Even tho it can't compare, for me seeing stuff like Cena in 07 or Undertaker's matches with Shawn michaels, Batista and edge at wrestlemania give the same feeling. As well as HBK vs Flair, that hits the nostalgia hard for me 😊

@joeblair5057
@joeblair5057 Год назад
Taka was decent in ring but WCW had the Ultimo Dragon. WCW had a lot of Japanese talent around that time but no one could give top class matches like the Ultimo Dragon. His match with Rey was even better than Rey’s match with Eddie. The top cruiserweight of Mexico and Japan going head to head. Makes me wonder if Forbidden Door will ever have AAA wrestlers involved. Ospreay vs Rey Fenix would be a must

@@RyanCT89 Austin was pretty much the most successful star the WWF/WWE had at his peak. From 97 to 99 he smashed records. In 98 he moved over 12 million in merch, a record that is still unbroken today in 98 he broke Hogans gate record and then in 99 he attained the record for most people at a house show with over 14000 paid. From 98 to 99 PPV buys kept going up and up and in 99 they were at the highest with Austin headlining around 90 percent of the shows. An amazing run.

@@Godeater13273Right time and place for sure. He certainly encapsulated the 90’s rebelliousness and anti-PC establishment for the time and was the perfect antithesis to the Mr. McMahon character. I wish WCW could’ve maintained their momentum and kept it competitive yet watching Reliving The War has made me realize their glaringly inferior product as the Monday Night Wars progress that I didn’t realize while watching it in real time. So much talent mismanaged with nowhere to go and I’m still amazed that they managed to screw it up. Tis a shame and it’s sad to watch it only get worse from here. It really is disappointing.
