See back in 1994 you should have just jumped on RU-vid like I did and you would have found all the secrets. Lol I didn’t know either and I played this for hours at a time as teenager. It was a fun time.
Had no idea about the "Mega Moves," until the CPU with Shawn Michael's used it and eliminated me from the Royal Rumble...I thought his kick was some kind of glitch.
@@firebirdude2 but so many of those wrestlers died way too young. Off the top of my head, i know at least four of them didn't live to see 50...which really sucks
@@Shendue yeah it's really sad. Granted people like Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt passed away way too young, but it's becoming a rarity nowadays, which is good. There was a period of time between the late 90s to 2015 where it felt like a bunch of these former stars would be dying every other month.
Where had you been man??? That was the main selling point of the new game. They were really hard to pull off though, but if you did manage them, they took like 60% HP.
@@aelechko The CPU opponents surely would have performed them at some point in the game, particularly if you played the Rumble match. How could you not have noticed these were in the game??? Fair dos if you hadn't seen all of them, but you must have seen at least one or two of them?
I used to play this all the time back in 1995. I always wondered why Shawn Michaels looked like Ricky Morton and Doink looked like Beetlejuice. By the way who else used to whip opponents into the bell on the outside of the ring?
The mega moves were not listed in the players manual for the SNES version. In the SEGA version, they were. So in a way, if you had the SNES version, you were cheated
I found out when the CPU with Shawn Michael's used the Mega Move kick and I went flying out of the Royal Rumble...I thought it was some kind if glitch.
What was the most annoying about this game is that Owen Hart would always use his mega move repeatedly. He had a ton of advantage, especially whenever I’d play Royal Rumbles.
Lex Luger was perfect for Royal Rumble matches. His running forearm could plow down multiple opponents. And his swinging uppercut could throw out opponents instantly.
The funniest thing about this is that back then we didn't have internet so trying to convince your friend Bam Bam Bigelow literally killed you by turning into a human bullet was impossible unless he saw it too.
He took a hiatus after has ladder match with Razor Ramon at Wrestlemania X, and afterwards started using the superkick as a finisher. It was built up by him inadvertently knocking his partner, Diesel, out cold with the move, when Shawn returned to action just prior to Summerslam 1994.
Bret Hart; Inventor of the 630 Senton edit: I'm sure it was unintentional, but it's really messed up that you did Diesel's mega move (the one where he throws his opponent and makes them fall from really high up in the air) onto OWEN HART of all people.
So the differences between the sega mega drive and snes are Undertaker can hit you out of the ring with the megamove which it didn't in the sega version and Lex Luger actually does damage here, but in the sega mega drive genesis version he doesn't do damage but can make you fatigued forever if you use special move and then a sleeper hold or something that makes you fatigued
Yeah the first time I played it, the cpu did owens spin. I was like what is going on? Also I never knew you could do the kids move while they were standing. I thought I always did it while they were down.
I liked the SNES and 32x versions much more than the Genesis. As soon as you hit an opponent to the ground they got right back up (like of memory in cart), limited time to execute moves. Just an fyi, you can execute the Bonsai drop anytime in the match, opponent doesn't need to be low on health.
The mega moves were in both, but here’s where things get weird. The players manual for the SNES version LEFT OUT the codes for the mega moves, so anyone who as that version couldn’t use them. The SEGA version of the manual had them.
Loved having WWF Wrestling games. But these games sucked. A number of Japenese wrestling games were WAY better at the time. Including Pro Wrestling and Tecmo Wrestling on the NES.
