you are about to dream sleeping beneath a fox hole somewhere in the battlefront near Alsace Lothringen under constant fire of German artillery and Mg42. :D
Its kind of relaxing because it gives you a feeling that alot of bad things are happening in the distance but you are safe, so you feel lucky to not be there, idk maybe i'm thinking to much
@@hashteraksgage3281 :: believe me you, its not what you may think even being a sniper, you never know when its ur time to punch ur ticket, you may be looking at from a video game point of view
This sound track is so fucking beautiful! No lie, I can't fall asleep without this playing, don't even know why but it just makes me feel so at peace.... Funny story though, I took this, some of my other warfare sleep tracks, and my speaker with me to a recent summer camp. The first track was my heavy rain and distant WWI artillery, counselor and my bunk mates thought it was just thunder so they thought it was cool and told me to keep it on all night. First hour in, I'm not asleep yet, as I don't usually fall asleep until the second track plays (2nd hour) which is my "all hell break loose" track, pretty much everyone except me is asleep in the room and all of a sudden; *"RATTAT RATTATTATAT, BOOM, RATATAT"* woke everyone in the room and they were like, wtf... Long story short, from then on I had to keep the speaker on low and next to my bunk. Anyways, thanks for the badass track to fall asleep to.
Had my great grandpa listen to this, he actually fought in the war...he described his memories and the tense and foreboding feelings but at the same time a feeling of bitter determination to survive what was going to happen
The ultimate immersion pack: 1.turn this masterpiece on 2. wear a German uniform 3. sleep under the bed or under a table so you are "safe" from artillery 4. have shell shock.
@@efka1486 Better looking than german tbh. German uniforms are honestly overrated. As is German ww2 stuff in general. No-one ever acknowledges the minor nations like Slovakia, Bulgaria, Denmark, etc and it shows with reenactments, where practically 70% of people are in german uniforms and the rest in another overrated nation, America. So boring tbh
@@batman6621 I am happy that few people dress up as Slovaks, also the "over rated" nation had a lot of soldiers lmao. Also most people do Soviet Impressions not American (at least here).
@@efka1486 Well here its all German and american and then the odd few british. Yeh i get there were tons of german soliders, but in reenactment they are still overrated, noone considers the other nations, probably dont even know there were many axis countries, all with really good looking uniforms, weapons, tanks, etc, like Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovak, Finnish. It gets boring just seeing the same germans over and over and then it doesn't help with "news" articles over here demonising the hobby, show pictures of really fat guys in the Black SS uniforms. The public perception of the hobby is that its full of fat neo nazis. Doesn't help either when theres idiots in SS stuff telling people the SS weren't that bad and other SS groups not even teaching the history, just being rude to the public and not letting them see their display, whats the point being there other than to dress up as a german and not get demonised by everyone around you...no wonder the hobby is dying, at least here
Brings back memories of arma 2. Sitting way out of the way of combat and just watching. Seeing the humvees and Bradley slowly move across a field, and the sound of distant explosives. Then the occasional helicopter or jet comes by and you watch as it flys by. Edit: auto correct.
Love to hear the impact of heavy shells in the far distance. This reminds me of a cold night, in the Ardenne (Battle of the Bulge), were the battle is raging. At some moments, you can even hear shells flying trough the air when fired. I recognize the sound, when i was in army, at army training in Germany. They fired life rounds.
When I visited Germany as a Tourist, back in 2012, we accidentally were staying right next to the Bundeswehrs biggest training ranges, and could hear explosions nearby first thing in the morning, when a family member of mine told the staff of the park that we can hear explosions going off nearby he got told in the best German accent '' Yes, we know this'' lol I never laughed so much.. and remember it till this day, and will say this saying, when ever somebody mentions something really obvious from this point on wards but hearing that so close does make you think about the realities of War, and what it could be like, by the sounds of it the Germans are preparing for any eventuality and are Well Prepared.
I Just think of lying in a Reserve Infantry tent on the eastern Front, Probably near Kursk,as the Batle Proceeds around 3,5 Kilometers away from me,i Just hear Mp-40s,PPSH's,MG 42's and Kathowas as Well as Artilery Units and Tanks Fire in the Distance.
What do u even mean?? they just constantly broke down lmfao and please don't tell me you actually believe they are "beasts" by todays standards, they would get completely obliterated by any anti tank weapon today. Honestly German armour is so overrated, as is german ww2 stuff in general tbh. The uniforms, aside from the helmet, dont even look that good.
@@batman6621 Do you know anything about WW2 tanks? If you did, then you would know that the Tiger is considered by some to be the best tank of WW2. In the hands of a skilled tank crew, a Tiger could easily turn Sherman and T-34 tanks into scrap metal. Now you know.
@@uniteagainstantifa7141 Yes i do. Theyre overrated and you said "even by todays standards" which implies you mean they can take on Abrams or challenger 2s and win. Sorry to burst your wehraboo bubble but tigers and panthers would be decimated by modern armour. Now you know
@@batman6621 You must have reading-comprehension issues, because I never stated that Tiger tanks should be used on the modern battlefield. Technical achievements of the past can be appreciated in the present. People often do that with cars and planes, but apparently you're quite ignorant of that concept.
The productions of this guy96 I used to play Wot, and it just got so boring for me I quit and went to War thunder. It was good, but now its full of Russian and French bias and uptiering, ect. But in my eyes that's still better than Wot. Just my opinion tho lol
Perfection. Also when I'm not playing War Thunder I put this on and the War Thunder soundtrack "Duty, Steel My Heart" on another tab (if you're trying this then make sure to turn down the soundtrack so it doesn't overpower the sound). Then perfection.
Damn Millions of people fought to stop the war and now we just relax to the death roaring sounds, what a wonderful world we live in 10/10 would leave on repeat again

I'm looking for a great M16 range ambience. I haven't found it. But this is a great substitute. I don't know if this is really what the tools of WWII sounded like exactly for my grandfather and other WWII vets but what a great 'step into' sound. I'm lovin it.
What I meant was that different armored vehicles and weapons have different capabilities. Considering the weapons and vehicles at the time, (e.g. Tommy gun?, Sherman?, etc), are these sounds legitimately comparable? I considered that maybe the creator may in fact implemented the same standard. I apologize for assuming too much. Yes, a great ambiance.
Fritz: Hans wake up, it's not the sleeping song. Hans: Let me sleep, it's still far away, we can relax a bit. Officer: ARTILLERY! GET DOWN! Fritz: **Ran to a house** Hans: **Yawns and sleep under tallgrass and unfortified trench** **Artillery hits Fritz's house** Hans: Told you.
Allow me to get creative with the sounds and the three armoured vehicles (which I recognize as Sd.Kfz 251's, aka Half Track). And I'm trying to stay historically accurate, but I'm also being creative. (starts at 0:00 ) September 22nd, 1943 (inner monologues) "The wind was blowing calmly through the tall grasses and the trees. My comrades and I, of the 10th Panzergrenadier Division, have been ordered to hold this point until called upon. We hear naught but the silence. No sound of birds or beasts but out own breathing and dimmed chatter. In the far distance we can hear the war raging on; the rattling of machine guns, the deep thumping of artillery pieces firing and the rumbling of the shells exploding. The smoke is the only other indication of where the fight is. Other than that, it is strangely peaceful. The wind is merely blowing calmly through the tall grasses and trees. And me and my comrades? I think we all quietly pray the war will be over soon."
I usually goto sleep listening to a thunderstorm and a fire place, but this is pretty good too, not long enough but I guess you could put it in a playlist and repeat
by far the best in terms of realism so far. i said the same about one yesterday that was meant to be in Berlin, with lots of shouting in german , but this one has a very believable cadence to it. I am dying to hear someone do a night time one on the eastern front , that has the sound of Ivan's biplanes aka "sewing machines" ,that were flown by women and that had more psychological impact that tactical, although a grenade from the sky landing on ones head doesnt need to detonate to be effective
I honestly believe it might be the satisfaction of hearing the repetitive shots. There is actually a real life app that had theraputic effects like that
Yall saying you cant sleep without this... thats a good thing if you should ever be in war, your comrades cant sleep because of the terrifying nosies but you just sleep like a bear
