After several years, I've decided to continue the development of my WWTBAM software (runs with Windows 7, 8, and 10). The game is already fully playable as single player (you can choose between automatic and hosted run. In the latter, the gameplay in controlled using the keyboard). The software has a modular design, so different languages, currencies (for the money tree etc.) or soundtracks can be added later by the user without having to change the actual program code. Questions can be added by the user as well. Different versions can be added as addons.
Features:
- Different versions (Classic, US Clock, both of which are already playable, US Shuffle, UK Clock, AUS Hot Seat). It is planned that in some of the versions the available lifelines can be changed, as there are many combinations in use around the world.
- Client/Server mode (almost finished) where the game is completely controlled by a person while audience, host, and contestant have their individual screens. In this mode, the ask the audience lifeline can be either simulated like in the single player mode, or a real audience poll will be possible utilizing a smartphone app.
Please note that at this point, this is only a demonstration and I will not yet make this software publicly available. I this happens, due to copyright issues, it will be delivered either without soundtrack or with a generic soundtrack. The same goes for the WWTBAM logo(s). All other graphics are custom-made by me. The background image has been kindly provided by user BL5965 ( / bl5965 .
