Polaris one of my all time favs. The lyrics are amazing and the flow is too good. The mortal coil is probably the toughest album to follow up but they killed it
This album is lyrically deep, Instrumentally technical and just an absolute heart wrenching album. Easily their best work to date and my favorite album this decade. Great reaction as usual. The line is "AS WE PRAY LIKE HELL FOR RAIN!"
This is hands down one of the best albums I’ve ever heard, and the same with their last album the mortal coil, didn’t think they could top it but they have, incredible musicians and one of the best metal bands out right now
Dude I'm obsessed with this album. The vocal performance in Martyr caught me sooooo off guard, and the Architects-like chorus (vocals) in Creatures of Habit got me losing my mind.
Yeah i second what everyone is saying, every song is amazing but personally my favorite is The Descent, it’s the final track and the longest at 5:13 I think? You should definitely react to it
I wish this song wasnt on the record. I dont see anything good with it. I hate it, I love every other song from them but The Descent just doesnt do anything for me :(
Love this entire album. Love the channel dude! Love the addition to lindsay on the reacts, girl power what whattt Yall need to check out imminence-the sickness or paralyzed. It's an amazing band and almost has an architects vibe to it. So you KNOW the drumming is sick. Cant wait to see how u like it if yall react to it! They use the violin too, and the music videos are captivating.
Such a good album. Hypermania still is the best song for me. Just love that in your face southern rock vibe of it. Reminds me of Every Time I Die. Been waiting to here what you think of this album. Hope you do more. Trivium also have a new song too thats pretty dope.
Loveee Martyr(Waves). I have to say its tied with landmine for my favorite of the album. Which is funny since landmine is one of the heavier ones and martyr is one of the softest of the album lol.
Would love to see you guys react to their previous Album, ‘Mortal Coil.’ The album that made me fall in love with Polaris, I was lucky enough to have seen them play at UNIFY. ‘Crooked Path’ is, hands down, still my favourite track - all the feels!!
When I first put this album on the morning it came out, I was on my way to work and this started, my immediate reaction was HOLY FUCK LETS GO. Banger of an album
I heard relapse by these guys on spotify a year ago and have been a fan ever since. These guys are gonna be well known here pretty soon, excellent band.
I feel like when most bands write songs, they like to reincorporate the main riff at several points, like Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, and many many many others... but when Polaris writes songs, they don't often reincorporate the main riff, but instead change it so that the song stays fresh across the entire run time. Having listened to this album dozens of times since its release, it's honestly something I can really appreciate because it means that even though I've heard this song and many others by them dozens of times they always hit in just the right way to make me want to listen to them again and again and again
Ive listened to this band back from their album the mortal coil and everywhere i turn theres another banger. I have an entire playlist with just Architects and Polaris and its on repeat
That reaction at 3:40 is so pure! -Wyatt just laughs at how badass it sounds! I love Polaris, this song is fantastic, I introduced two of my colleagues to it this past week, and they both loved it.
Landmine was the COD themed single they dropped. That song is heavy heavy. Heavier than Hypermania which rips too. This might be the best album out this year or last which is crazy to say since there have been so many solid releases. Killer reaction
I just found you guys from recommended on metalbirb, and subbed immediately because I love watching new people react to great music like POLARIS, my absolute favorite band at the moment. Also, I was the thousandth like on this vid.
It's like Polaris took all the best elements of their influences in ETID, Parkway, Amity & Architects and made something on steroids. Best band in metal atm!
Love the reactions man!!! You guys are one of my new favorite channels to watch. I wanted to suggest a band you guys more then definitely havent herd of. But I think you might really enjoy!! HOLLOW FRONT... the album still life is amazing and they are putting out singles too this year. ( dont fall asleep, still life, P.A.N.I.C. and left behind are incredible tracks!! ) either way!! If you do or dont!! Love the channel man !
@@jamieortiz7481 I dig it, pretty catchy choruses.. like a mix between architects and the plot in you. I could have swore I herd paralyzed before like on a random spotify playlist. But I dig it for sure!!
All I do is sink or Baltimore rain are two of my faves. I absolutely love coffin. I am sooo sad it's not a full length song. I need like 6 minutes of coffin lol.
@@hazielrendon3805 yeah I have no idea how people dont see the value of this album!! Its fucking perfect and everything amity every was is and will be. I absolutely love it, I think you can truly see the effort they put into it, the passion they have for their specific type of music because they truly are unique. The vocals of this band are unbelievable, the message joel is spreading (awareness of mental health disorders), the instruments, the layers. I just dont understand how people cant open their eyes and see the beauty. I so wish I had the bundle pack! I've been browsing their merch and really want to spend money on it but I'm just going to wait to get a tour shirt when I see them in april. I'm soooo pumped lol.
Since you cant get the other videos out you shoukd react to martyr (waves) and the descent. Martyr is just a different feel and the last song is just an amazing end to the album
