I'm not an active player anymore (gosh I played 1 class slowly) but Fruma was interesting to think about. Thought that it would be the size of Gavel as it was said somewhere to be pretty big (edit: outskirts a.k.a the tutorial area was said to be a small part of Fruma, but that is the very largest definition of what I could consider small). But it being an endgame area and completing the rectangle makes much more sense, like would we have fought poor lvl 20 villages across thousands of blocks of wasteland, then encounter guards and the monarch of the same power level as Bob or Qira? Maybe the latter part, we would be hostiles coming back there maybe? There's also the realm of Dern beyond the silent expanse which probably comes at some point and doesn't have to fit the rectangle, still very many content update possibilities.
ngl, I expected fruma to be further south, or open up to more southern locations. in the realm of light quests, the forest guardian makes this little diagram for the physical plane and the plane of influence, which gave me the impression that orphion's portal, and the dark beast's portal were equidistant to wynn's corruption portal. And therefore, equidistant to wynn itself. so idk, i was expecting a new continent or stretch of land that lead south, as far away from wynn as gavel is north. oh well, that'd be too much to ask for anyways i suppose, still excited for fruma
I was also kinda disappointed at the size, but when I actually saw fruma it felt massive, believe me, it is incredibly large when you're actually there
There is no war inside the Fruman walls. There is no war inside the Fruman walls. There is no war inside the Fruman walls. There is no war inside the Fruman walls. Honestly I am somewhat scared about the higher level cap. 15 extra levels doesnt seem so bad but I think its bad. Now lvl 100=105 is already endgame. You have acces to everything. Also there are a lot of Mythics. I think if they will add 15 more levels there will be tons of new myhtics. Its already hard enough for the casual player to get a mythic or safe up for it. All the current mythics will probably drop in price and the new mythics will probably be really expensive and rare. Also with more mythics the chance gets lower that you find the mythic you specificly want because there are just more. I feel like wynncraft should do different things then just upping the level cap and making new endgame content. I also feel 120 is a weird and odd number to end. They might increse it later again. 105 also feels off. I rather see more stuff added to the game for like lower levels. Maybe even more challenges. And maybe new classes rather then more leveling and more endgame content. A while back I thought of something that whould be cool in wynncraft. What if there were pvp arena's. You can enter a sort of hunger style tournament where its just a giant FFA. There could be different arenas for different levels caps to a arena for lvl 30 and under. And one for lvl 60 and under and then one for 90 and under and the final one for 90+ I kinda miss the old nether where it was always a big FFA. Its just fun to spice things up and pvp. And if they make the pvp arenas big and nice it could be cool. Maybe even add team fights where you could have a 10v10 or something. And yes I know wynncraft isnt a pvp server or its pvp based but you have dueling and hunted mode so there is some. But I think it whould be something cool endgame players and midgame players could enjoy. I dont this should have a leaderbord or prices because people could just really easely abuse it and cheat their way up by letting friend kill them or something. If its just regular and there is nothing to wynn, then people wont cheat or like killboost (and I still think you will but I hope you understand my point)
They said up to 120, that means it will probably be around 110-115, but the last few updates have been only about improving current content, 2.0, 1.20, 1.18, 1.17 have all improved the content that already exists, the only updates that added late game content (in major ways) was 1.16 And 1.19, So i think its time for another major endgame update and yes, anything more then 100 feels weird, but what can you do, also the fact that old mythics loose on price is good imo, as an economy student i can tell you that a healthy inflation is actually benefitial and new "products" are also a good thing
There just isn't much of a demand for Wynn PVP, i mean people would play it, but it would have to be created well and i don't think if they would implement PVP without thinking it over properly that it would be a good idea
I don't think they will add lots of new mythics, or that would be really stupid. What they can (and will probably) do is increase the required level for the already existing mythics. But now lootrunning had greatly evolved (caves have loot quality, there are lootrunning missions for great chance of mythics/lots of emeralds...) so getting mythics is less of a problem.
