I've seen YT vids of guys plumbing their shops with PEX and no issues. Probably a little more expensive, but they mentioned the extra CFM's stored in the 1/2" line, minimal at best I'm sure. I didn't see how you sealed your service entrance on the outside. I have to install service to several out buildings clad in steel. Also, don't forget to check off that 5000 sub mark!! God Bless you all

We have extra 3/4" PEX around and I was going to use it but I couldn't find the adapters I needed to plumb the PEX lines to air compressor quick connects and the few places I was able to find them were incredibly expensive. I am sure that they do hold more CFM and flow more too. I honestly don't use pneumatic tools that much anymore. The electric tools have really become more powerful and of course more portable but I still wanted to have lines ran because once the insulation gets blown in I don't want to have to fight with it to run the lines. The SEC was sealed with silicone around the hole that allows it through the metal sides.

Lol, I don't follow Amazon stocks but I know they went up a bunch the last year and a half. You're right I feel like we get sold the same thing in a different color and we act like we never heard of it 😂

The $85 kit comes with 100ft of line and aluminum blocks instead of plastic.

I should have went that route. I am planning to replace mine with PEX honestly.

No lines where you are going to have vehicles stored? Never gonna get a flat on a stored vehicle, eh? Lucky guy. Seriously, the two things I have against your shop is the lack of windows and it's not mine. I will suggest you put some large ceiling fans in there just for summer work. They make a huge difference. Especially when you start hosting family events in the shop.... and you will.

I don't want to ruin it but the Camaro has not had a flat after winter storage yet😁 Plus I can reach the rest of the shop from that point it's just not a likely place to need lines is all. Just more lines for more leaks😂. We actually have 8 windows to put in but they are still on back order now going on 3 months along with our garage door 🤦‍♂️ I am noticing I need to get some kind of fan for sure because right now without the windows it is really rough with no breeze.

Dude, it clearly says for home or garage shops. No where does it say for outside use. So don't damn it for not being for outside application.

It's not being used outside. This shop is even heated.

I understand, but in your video you say in your opinion it's not good enough for outside (In sun) application. It does not say it is for outside and specifically says indoor shop. So why damn the item for something it is not designed for. Like saying your car won't fly when out of the garage. No shit, it is not designed to fly when out of the shop. But thanks for video all the same. It did help me. I ordered one with aluminum bases.

@user-bu8rz5km2s it was more along the lines of informing folks who were thinking of using it outside anyway. Glad the video helped you
