Amazing Grace had me feeling all the feels - though this video was recorded in 2020 and it’s 2023 now it reminds me of my grandma - at the time this video was recorded she was home from the hospital after a huge surgery that caused major complications (that included strokes) - before she went in for surgery she was my normal , beautiful , primp and proper , super sweet grandma but when she came out all that changed - it broke me to see her the way she was - she was completely stripped of mobility and independence and her brain was altered - from the time she was released on she suffered and deteriorated slowly as her beloved husband cared for her everyday - she passed away on April 28th , 2022 of heart failure just 2 days before Wy’s mom Naomi - though Wy’s situation is a bit different from mine I truly believe that the fact that her mom’s death and my dad’s mom’s death happened just two days apart was a sign that I am never alone in this journey and process of grieving and navigating change and a new normal - I just recently became addicted to Wynonna and listen to her voice and she has become a beacon of hope for me - if she can get through it so can I - So far I have been okay, however, just 8 days before my grandma’s 1 year death anniversary my beloved grandfather passed away suddenly of a heart attack while watering plants in his backyard - I had just gotten to the acceptance stage of grieving my grandma when this happened and wasn’t ready for this but I think about my grandparents and the fact that they would want me to live the best life I can - that truly gets me through everyday , well that and Wynonna songs ! ❤
You need better video quality cause this video is absolutely blurry I can only hear Cactus and Wynonna. Meaning that the video only shows the 2 of them are not visible to see.
Having a little singing session with Wynonna would be a dream come true for me!! I love just singing as a hobby and would be both scared to death but also thrilled to death - maybe one day !!
That is so sweet that Cactus wrote song about Wy and she didn’t know till later! So sweet ! If I am fortunate to find the one, I would love for him to write a song about me!!
