Day 4 We departed Atlantic City and rode to a friend’s home in Lander for showers and clothes washing. Headed out from Lander but skipped the large dessert section and decided to do the rails to trails section instead which led us over old train bridges and dumped us off into Shoshoni. We then rode on from Shoshoni to the Big Horn Mountains where we camped for the night. 210 Miles
Day 5 We departed the Big Horn Mountains and rode to Tensleep for fuel and breakfast where we found the Daily Bread Café which was decent. There is a quite a bit of pavement out of Tensleep, but it was beautiful. We took the harder route through Woodchuck Pass and so glad we did there was a couple water crossings, and the landscape was beautiful. This section would be a bit more challenging if it had just rained, luckily, we had clear blue skies. We then proceeded up to Burgess Junction for dinner at the Bear Lodge Resort which was good. We continued the route after dinner to find a nice camp spot near a meadow. Milage 165
