I love your reviews. You always provide details which I appreciate. I rock with WRY but a couple of details to consider when comparing to premium quality construction for the following: Joggers: 1. No Gusset. Gusset has changed the game for active pants and is now the gold standard for increased durability and comfort. 2. Sizing/ Cut: As described they are very slim/skinny but does have decent stretch. May over accentuate the thighs and calves like a pair of leggings on thicker legs. Hoodie & Joggers 1. Drawstring looked to be super curly after wash. 2. The aglet of the drawstring looks like it will come apart or fall off rather than being a heat treated and bonded piece of whole rubber tipped. Rule of Thread & Lululemon are better quality, not as slim, but are $20 to twice the price of WRY due to overhead and marketing (sigh).
I was looking for this review. Thanks a lot man! I agree with everything you said. I think I like the cuts joggers better only because you can dress them up a bit more. I also dig the updated content. Keep it up bro
You should check out Vouri. Their Kore Shorts and Ponto Pants. Maybe even some shirts or hoodies of theirs as well. Curious to hear your thoughts. Keep killin it Aaron.
Perfect timing for this review. I just received my Wyr wear order a few days ago. I ordered 2 long sleeves shirts and the hoodie in stone color as well. The shirts are a perfect fit, really nice slim fit! For the hoodie, I find it’s a little bit loose. I would love to see a slimmer fit.
Hey Aaron, another great vid man. Just wondering for your post wash measurements with the shrinkage - how did you wash it? What temp? And did you air dry or in the dryer? Thanks :)
I don’t prefer long cuffs on leg openings either. I took a pair of Uniqlo joggers to the dry cleaners and had them reduce the cuff to 1 inch, hem the leg 4 inches to hit mid ankle and tapper the leg all for $20. That’s normally a $30-$50 job. It saves to have a good working relationship w/ your dry cleaner. Some of the better quality items may have 1 or 2 aesthetic details not to your liking but not necessarily a dealbreaker.
do you think the fit of the wyrwear hoodie is better than the cuts hoodie? The cuts hoodie used to fit perfectly when they were first released but now the new ones are too oversized for my liking
I bought a couple of the hoodies per this review but there is an issue why I can’t wear them… the pockets that are built on the inside keeps crawling up and down my lower abdomen. My body type is just like your… same height same build. This issue makes the hoodie supremely uncomfortable. These Wyr hoodies would be the best if the pockets were made on the outside like the conventional woodie design - for good reason I should say. Or Wyr should make a standard design. Cheers.
@@AaronCronk have you not experienced the issue I am talking about? Since you are a source of traffic to them, you would be the ideal person to raise this issue with them - credible critique. I highlighted the issue with them by email but they seemed stuck on the modern aesthetics of the current design …though impractical and uncomfortable it is. I won’t be buying anymore for the reason I highlighted. I do like the quality of product though. But as is it is not for me.
