The 2024 World YoYo Contest was held in Cleveland, Ohio and brought together 229 contestants from 27 countries, competing across 10 different divisions. From Canada to Qatar to Singapore, aspiring champions from all walks of life gathered to swap tricks, make friends, and show off their skill in search of a World Champion title.

Mad respect to Hajime, he’s at such a GOAT level where he could have easily remixed a conservative version of his 2023 trickset and still won. Testament to his love of the game, to play high risk, at the very edge of his ability, when no one is even close. Excited for the comeback in 2025.

Dear Hajime, whenever I thought of 3a, I thought of you. I've always looked up to you and have always been a fan of you. So when I saw you not switch out once not twice but three times I felt heartbroken cause in your whole career you've never switched out your yoyos at all. And when I saw you walk off the stage and saw you crying I was also crying. That's how big a fan I am of you. That's how big I look up to you. I want you to make a big comeback in Prague. Even with those mistakes he probably would have ranked higher if he'd had untangled one of his pairs (one less discard) or if he'd brought another pair with him (less time wasted.) I really hope we get to see this routine next year.

the fact is he's been dominating the 3A division since 2014, makes him the greatest yoyoer to play in the 3A division. the 2023 routine was incredibly harder, and this one was even harder!!!!!!!. can't wait for him to bounce back at 2025

The beginning I don't know, but a good part is the Godzilla Minus One movie theme. But Hajime put the Godzilla's roar into the mix. Maybe the first part is from another Godzilla movie that i'm not aware of
