I remember when i liked really high pumped hype songs and slowly progress into such a depressing taste of music. at least if people saw my playlist they would think im depressed.

True life is found in Jesus because He is the way the truth and the life. Let go of the hurt and give it to Jesus. Matthew 11:28-30: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Jesus saves and He loves you He died for your sins that you could have a relationship with Him and go to heaven instead of eternal separation from Him in Hell through faith.
this song is really depressing but relatable. (vent ahead!!) the last time i saw my dad was on his weekend, 8/28/22. i remember hugging him and saying our good byes. while i walked down the hall to the gate, i turned around to see him tearing up. right before i opened the gate, i look back one more time and he was gone. that was the last time i saw him. the last text i got from him was a few hours before he was found h@ng!ng by my halmoni. his text said, "sick and tired of living like this. the cancer to my soul, the one i call mom." i didnt find out he died until two weeks later, (he died 8/30/22 3-6am). have so many regrets. towards the end, his health was declining. his lung cancer was getting worse and there was nothing we could do but that last weekend i spent with him, he was actually doing well. he was up and talking and eating, everything was good. he told me when i was a little girl that he would never take his own life and that he'd never leave me alone. in the end, i guess i wasnt important enough.
sensitive words may be here and if i say anything bad im sorry; its not that you werent important enough, sounds like his affirmed death was taking a huge toll on his mental health and he couldn't take it anymore. im sorry you had to go through this but i am sure that you were his only comfort. (considering where you said it happened)
just remember not to blame yourself for what was out of your control. Suicide affects a wide circle of people, and it hurts everyone around them more than it helps themselves; something i wish was more acknowledged that it is
Don't blame yourself. I had to blame myself for multiple suicides for the longest time, I always told myself I could've done more, or been better. It only eats away at you and destroys you from the inside. Remember your dad not for how he passed, but how he lived. Dwelling on the death only makes your forget what the person was like before those moments. Keep your chin up, and keep going as strong as you can, even if it's hard to move on.
