You gotta press R2 for the Nova Strike, dude. 0:00 - Rainy Turtloid and Spark Mandrill (9-1) 5:46 - Storm Eagle and Metal Shark Player (9-2) 9:35 - Iris and Double (9-3) 15:45 - Ultimate Armor X and Awakened Zero (9-4 / Final Battle)
That Iris/ Double fight... imagine if that was Zero going though that. Fighting Iris and Colonel at the same time, that would be the roughest fight ever...
Unarmored (except for the boots) X can beat both Ultimate X and Awakened Zero. Perhaps this is the *unlimited evolutionary potential* Dr. Cain was talking about.
They should’ve made x and zero dying animation burst into bubbles, not destroyed like common bosses lol. Legendary run, i never thought you could dodge iris laser by standing in front of her, and colonel lightnings easier to dodge if you stick to the left wall. And the AI exploit, i couldn’t even fathom how many tries you took to record this. Awesome run, keep it up man!
X6 color palette, with X5 voice set, using the X4 Charge animation... truly the Ultimate Armor X of the PS1 generation... still very exploitable boss AI, though... Capcom doesn't learn enough, do they?
fun fact the purple colot of the saber he used is the virus buster extenstion and considering the fact that awakend zero has a virus inside of him well....
The true Limitless power is the player controlling X. We are the unstoppable force that can surpass every encounter no matter how impossible it is. Even Ultimate X and Awakened Zero are nothing against the unlimited power we are for Megaman X.
There is skill here... but the player is simply taking advantage of AI pattern limitations. Just imagine what this battle would be like if Ultimate X and Awakened Zero were allowed to climb walls, use Genmurei, or spam Nova Strike! The fact is... the programmers have the true power. The players only play their game.
Holy hell... you're a god damn Master of Mega Man X. I figured the Double/Iris Fight ALONE would be nigh-impossible as it is without the Armor and Special Weapons, LET ALONE the fight against X and Zero!
They are nothing likely. Yeah, sure, It's the same body, but their attacks, aside of being the same, doesn't look the same. [And each ones has their own attack too]
That's why Dr. Light named him X. Because X is a variable and it's not until the end of the equation do we discover what X is. Until then it's possibilities are limitless. But something tells me when we finally finish the equation to solve for X the answer will have been right under our noses the whole time. Is going to be 0. Henceforth X=Zero
Impressive runs! As someone who can barely even beat Classic Robot Masters Buster Only, this is an amazing sight for me. The announcer sounds bored out of his mind
I just can't stop watching this vid simply cuz you were badass enough to beat x and zero with only the x buster. I though I was a good player for just beating them. Your a legend.
New Megaman X Futureing X: Phew i got throung all 3 bosses now so the last one i will pretty much finished this (X gets in the last boss battle room) X: Wait this is familer... i remember this when i fought Zero (When the warning sigh came out and appeared Zero and X) X: What the ? X: What the ? (Zero look X and X left and right) Zero: are we dreaming ? X: I dont think-who are you !? Ultimate X: ?... Wha-... ???: 😊 Ultimate X: D- Dr. Lig- No armor X: Hiya!!! Ultimate X: ! Awakened Zero: Wha- *got beat by no armor X* ???: only you... Can be... Our future... Even...
with today's online play capabilities, i think its best if x9 (if ever they make it happen) should make a 1v1 ladder. i think that shit would be awesome. imagine going up against another player. that would make the game not about memorizing and mastering the already hard boss patterns.
But what would happen when they shut their servers down? Would that be the only defining trait of the game? Or would there be more? I mean, yeah it's a super cool Idea and I hope it happens, but I'm just saying huee~
The single player campaign the multiplayer is just a feature you're acting as if servers shutting down is the end all be all they could also add a 2 player vs mode
They already did something similar to that. In Mega Man 7, if you were to input a certain code, you would be able to enter a multiplayer mode, where two players would be pit against each other (one of whom plays as Bass).
well in X4 you kill colonel then if playing as zero you fight iris and she dies (cue "what am i fighting foooooor!!") in the original colonel never comes to help iris but it would be like him to take her away if she was beaten
Megaman X6 was a mess, but at least Capcom wanted to spend the time to make the characters from MMX1-3 when emulated by Metal Shark Player with the new scale the X4-6 had with the new pixel art. I still think it's lazy not to make all the bosses with the same art style and apply their intelligence programs to the new sprites. At least it would look the same for everything. XD It would be way more pleasing to the eye that way.
i like how you've memorized hard mode patterns, how many times have you tried this?! i have unsteady controls and nerves to do that especially with zero's rekkoha!
lmao Spark Mandrill loses a lot of his threat when you can just leap clean over him and hover up there xD. It doesn't work when X's sprite is the same size as his, he's meant to be much bigger.
Kind of lame how Zero/X battle was so simple and easy when you watch this video. That makes Double/Iris challenge much harder. [Also, nice dodging at 11:53. That was too sick]
What I mean Is that that was... quite not fit for their character... everyone In general to be precise. They just did the same attack pattern again and again. I complain because they could easily do something more Interesting, just like they did In the Megaman ZX Advent, I think It was... even If It was easy.
@@emishimaru-sama6449 even if it was the same pattern i'm not sure I'd call it easy. that person is extraordinarily good at mega man. you go do it if it's so easy and underwhelming
Surely he tried a lot to understand the mechanics of that battle. It seems complex, but not as the previous ones. You can see how X and Zero's movements are only based on dashes only. Their movements and actions are calculated, even If It's not noticed, and If It gets out of sync, they would do different attacks to fill that gap. The same goes for the first one with Rainy Turtloid and Spark Mandrill. It's kind of hard to tell from the third one with Iris and Double. Double just throws his blades, and depending on how off-reels he gets, he either throws one or two. As for the second one, I'd say that's where the player tries harder. You can't tell what's coming next, especially with Eagle's windblow.
I never played the MMX games as a kid. Now that I'm solidly into adulthood, how hard are the base games? I've heard legends about the enemy soup that is X6 and the horrific camera screws of X7 (most 3D platformers of the period had that, really), but I'm really wondering if I'll end up crying in frustration at some point at just the base games.
Here to help inform you! Mega Man X1 is easier than the classic series games actually, X2 is as hard as the classic series but can feel overwhelming if you've never played an MMX game before, X3 is where the series starts being more difficult than the classic series with the insane damage everything deals to you, X4 is a respectable middle ground between X2&X3, X5 is just about as hard as X3 for similar reasons, X6 is as horrifying as people say it is but in the "fake difficulty" sense that yells poor game design, X7 is up with X2/X3 in difficulty but only because everything in that game feels slow and unresponsive, and X8 entirely depends on which character you play as for the current stage.
X1 - Pretty easy except for the bosses and the fortress stages X2 - Easiest of the SNES trilogy X3 - Extremely difficult at first but gets easier as you progress, still a very hard game, very newcomer-unfriendly, stay away from this one until you beat the easier ones X4 - Easiest in the series by far. Getting a Game Over is practically impossible in this game X5 - Definitly harder than X4, can be frustrating sometimes X6 - "Hardest" in the series but for all of the wrong reasons. Cheap, unfair and overall garbage level design make this one an unholy fuckfest. X7 - Very easy for the most part but it has some frustrating moments, but again it's for all of the wrong reasons X8 - Pretty easy In terms of difficulty: X4(easiest) -> X7 -> X8 -> X2 -> X1 -> X5 -> X3 -> X6("hardest")
Have you got the achievement where its Just Plain Dilo From megaManX 1 in the legacy collection when you hit armadillo with The lighting power up and his armor Comes Off?
Forgive to ask but... Why the X's Saber is Purple on the X Challenge? I think about of more damage but, its seems that is just a colocar swap with Black Zero's Saber (also if something in my comment is wrond sorry about that, i am brazilian)
Hi! I've ordered the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 and I'm planning to take on the X Challenge on Hard, in order to beat X and Zero at the end. Any tips and is it really that difficult? Somebody told me that it isn't, but I found it hard to believe them, cause it's 2v1.
Ultimate Armor X: (Sees the player) Is...is that another me!? Zero look at this! Awakened Zero: (Floats down menacingly) What am I looking at X? Player X: So...this is my final challenge huh? Oh boy... Awakened Zero: *OH MY GOD KILL HIM!!!* Ultimate Armor X: Sorry about this. Player X: D8
Hello! @stop or just anyone. I've seen people face Vile & High Max at the same time. However, when I went through the X Challenge I didn't receive that fight. Am I missing something that gives me more challenges or am I doing something wrong?
I have not seeing X and Zero using their powerful moves. Whe X were alone he used only Yammark Option. Oh come on, i want to see the "Kosen Bushin no Jutsu" aka Soul Body Alt. Charged Attack; Double Cyclone and Frost Tower. Man, see they using the ultimate moves specialy after one of them die would be awesome due the emotion of the battle[but seeing trough that is not like Awakened Zero would care about X, cause, y'know... if you played X5 with all endings, you know].
Maybe capcom do that on purpose. They were learning from unforgivable fight in X6 X5. They didnt wanted to do that again and bring the player the best experience first and foremost. Imagine if they do that like they have done in X6 or X5. X and Zero instant death and unforgive fight go out at the same time and give the player hard time.
