Brother J is one of my top 5 lyricists...underrated in my opinion...cat is intelligent, clear voice, keeps his flow. X-Clan was one of my favorite groups and good to see them back even though half of the originals died. Prof X died of Spinal Meningitis to answer the question above.

My heritage is Euro centric, yet I was raised in the neighbourhood. I know everyone and we're cool. I have always loved the clan mostly because their music is so, so hop. Not many can come close to it, and brother J's control of the verbals, no one comes close, not yet. Ha ha, 'eatin' cooked meat while you gnaw at the bone'.

I remember getting an X Clan tape in card sleeve when i bought a pair of trainers, Converse i think, around 90, as i recall getting Ice Cube Kill At Will same day. That was the first id heard of them, and getting into that US hip hop and rap music a lot. You don't treats like that anymore when buying trainers
