Does it work on Zencore using the converted bin bank for the cloud vst? Or with the svd file native to the jd? Or have you managed to convert it to sysex and get full function?
Yes, all formats are included. .svz for ZencoreHW and .bin for both JD-800 VST and Zenology Pro. Plus .svd for JD-08 and .syx for original JD-800/990 HW. The .syx file is untested though as I don’t have the original HW
It’s been bugging me after 2 days I got annoyed with that built in metronome sound ../but after a few hours whilst switching it on to see if battery was working good a break beat melody came from it how ? basically. ive edited this because. the sequencer wis tricky ive dealt with it. onwards. i still own it. its great bit ov kit.
@@xrcstrecords ive sussed it. its. ok. cclr. is a understated function. PRESS CCLR ON the ting n that. and it leaves you all the sequences of your choice without a roland demo sound in background. SIMP;E
I have both but if I had to keep just one I’d go for JD. Lot more possibilities imho. JX is fine and easy to program but sorta limited. Then again JX is analog emulation, JD is digital all the way, so really it depends on what sort of sounds are you looking for…
I’ve bought the Jd and I’m far from expert/ I learn by looking 👀.. so that’s why thease vids r good../learning curve is probably same on both .. but trust me Jd 08 is diamond 💎 clear sounds . I midi it to my Korg monologue along with other little bits of kit
Hello, when installing the kit it doesn't sound the same.....the question is...to get the sounds of the video you have to adjust the parameters or is there something wrong??? All the best!
Hmmm, the sounds in the video were recorded straight from JD-08 going through the presets, no additional effects or any post processing except normalizing levels. Mostly playing just simple Minor7 chords.
