The fourth edition of the X-Eryri Hike & Fly comp took place over the weekend of the 21st/22nd April and was literally the first flyable weekend they'd has in Snowdonia all season - the weather gods were on our side! I seem to be slipping down the rankings as the years progress, but I'm happy with a relaxed 15th place overall... As for next year, who knows...!

I think I said this on your channel last year too but anyway, I rely on you to carry me through the southern hemisphere winter, as our thermals die at this point so good to see you back! Have a good one Tim. I like your terrain btw. Nice and grassy with pubs and so forth. Very civilised compared to here.

I've not used them in anger yet (and hope I won't need to!), but they're simple to use and will hopefully help me avoid any strong wind landing dramas 🤞🤞
