X FILES Creating Neanderthals BTS 

Great makeup, excellent depiction! I understand why the opening scene was cut from the video altogether, despite that it aired at the cinema where I watched it, because Neanderthals never existed in the Americas, but that scene is fantastic. To me these guys were tracking the alien to that cave. We understand, through skeletal remains, that Neanderthal were likley way stronger than homo sapiens, hence why it makes it believable that one of them was able to kill the alien.

Great movie! can't wait for the X-Files to make is return to television! :)

Cool! I watched it with my boy recently (showing him the show for the first time) and was wondering why they didn't have beards but now I see one of them wasn't completely clean-shaven and they did have facial hair in the concept art. Wonder what the rationale was?

the neanderthals scene in this movie for me it so spooky

I like the character on the left, more (the one NOT featured in the application process). The nose on the featured character seemed too Arabic or Jewish....wider and flatter would seem more appropriate, imo - not that I'm an anthropologist or whatever. And the ears looked too high on the head, as well. But I get it; It's a test, a design. I figured you would welcome some sort of feedback other than the usual "Awesome!" or "Cool!" I appreciate the video and the work involved, of course.

But there were no Neanderthals in North America not that we know of or I know of....

The guys look awesome they have the Neanderthal look bulky noses huge brow ridges stocky build unkempt hair some had matted hair and fluffy face hair they look good beautifully ugly lol but Neanderthals never lived in Americas they were more in Europe till modern man (us ) came along from Africa and we drove them to extinction but they left behind bones and tons of clues Iv always been fascinated by them so I know a bit about them and Iv been to the Neanderthal museum in Germany but they never set foot in America as it was back then also they say we could bring them back we have their DNA

That movie was (be advised, for me) the best thing that happened to the X-Files saga since the entire series started to go down into a strange whirpool of randomness in the 3rd season. I very liked the first 2 seasons because the characters and the atmosphere was perfect and creepy, but later I started to notice a change in every aspect and then the X-Files looses its charm. But this movie was OK by me (the second movie sucks as hell, in the trailer I was like "oh wow, yeah! this looks like a real holy shit random creepy bad things that are going to happen" and then in the middle of the movie I was more like....... "meh....... let's play Neverwinter Nights...").because it got the feelings and the atmosphere of the very first seasons and the story behind goes right to a sequel..... that never came......... Thinking about this.... a direct-100%-presto-accurate sequel to this movie it would have been a better idea than a new movie badly related to the facts (nothing is mentioned from the previos movie so the open ending was for nothing at all) of the previous one with a story that nobody would buy and.... ... anyway, I better leave this topic here before I start to spit spoilers. Anywho..... great make up of those Homo neanderthalensis, now we know why they got extinct. By the way, by the way, by the way, I had a very important question, ADI created the Practical Effects for the destruction of the Building Offices?, if is "yes" then hands down to you people for that wonderful scene, if "no" then contact the makers and tell them that.
