Mrs.Anderson why would you not want to do another season the chemisty between you guys is fun and looks like fun more than work no one could ever replace a wonderful greatest actress like yourself😃
Because Chris Carter is a terrible writer who promised closure and never delivered. Gillian is an actress who doesn't want to spend her whole life on this show. She has other things in mind and that's perfectly fine.
I wonder if I was the only person who wondered back in January, February and March, 2018, when the Season 11 of the X-Files aired on FOX Channel, about why Scully's voice was so raspy (sometimes distractingly raspy) in all of the episodes of such Season. But what is evident now, at least for me, when looking at the bloopers of this gag reel, is that it seems that such raspy tone was faked by Gillian Anderson when playing her role as Scully, since when talking (and laughing and cursing and yelling the "F*" word) when not in character, the raspiness just dissapears. Weird! Why did Gillian choose to do that to Scully's voice, on what purpose? That is a new X-File to be solved...
OK. Maybe. But not so raspy that almost seems the voice of a very old lady, not from a woman in her middle 50's, which is the age of Scully (54 [Feb/23/1964]) in-XF-Universe. Anyway, raspy voice or not, Scully is still kicking asses at that age (specially at Episode 2 of Season 11).
