Such a masterpiece. I did learn something new while listening to this for the 500th time .. There is a second pianist accompanying Yoshiki. It's very apparent at the 7:20 mark and again at the 9:10 mark. I feel like that only a full orchestra could really bring out the colors in this piece. Currently, Yoshiki is playing a much much shorter version of this piece on his classical tour, but the instruments are limited to a couple of violins, a viola, and a cello (and Yoshiki on piano). That's just not enough in my estimation.
