X-MEN '97 Is What Marvel NEEDS Right Now 

When I saw that this was coming back, I immediately realized that Marvel was actually trying to take their animation game seriously, and I'm so glad cuz Marvel has so many underrated gems that it's actually a crime such as iron Man, armored adventures or the fantastic four series or even the hulk series and MTV's Spider-Man series and the best one out of all of them. Avengers Earth's mightiest heroes

What Marvel needs is more 2D animation shows and non-related animated shows. And so far X-Men 97 has been doing a great job.

I have been keeping track of everyone who made a Cyclops joke over the last 27 years. I will be publishing a list of confirmed liars now that he is officially cool. Sincerely, the number one cyclops stan Nick!

Bruh for real I was trying to figure out why I was loving X-Men 97 besides it being a continuation of X-Men The Animated Series one of the greatest animated shows of all time and it being a great show of it's own but also we all want Marvel stuff outside of the MCU , we want live action movies, and animated shows outside of the MCU.

I genuinely like the Cyclops love I've been seeing since the series came out. He's the X-Men leader for a reason.

The problem is Disney. They like to neuter their IPs. They also like to capitalize on nostalgia, which I'm guessing is the only reason x-men 97 exists

This is where we need classic comic book shows that don’t need to rely on the MCU. I genuinely hope that comic accurate shows get a chance to resurface. Though I didn’t grow up with the OG Xmen show as a kid, I got to watch it as an adult and can say it’s the best adaptation of the Xmen. And this new show is absolutely amazing and I get to grow up with it! As well as the rest of us. It’s literally a badass breath of fresh air!

X-Men 97 is genuinely incredible. Like I didn't realize how much I missed the X-Men as a family until I watched the first two episodes of the show. Everything from the conversation between Jean and Storm about how Jean should raise her son in a world that will always remind him about how he's different and how this world will always hate him for simply being born, to honestly one of my favorite Magneto speeches and moments of all time when he pulled the UN Council to the the edge of Earth's atmosphere because of what happened to Strom and came so close to smiting them out of existence but restrained himself because an old friend challenged him to remember a different view of the world. Charles challenged Magnus to remember how vast the world is versus how small they make it. I loved how he said the dream isn't from mutants and humans to love each other but simply to accept their existence and that Earth is a shared world with a common future. The music score in that scene was incredible. Speaking of music, the newly revamped intro was also fantastic! The really cool added visual details and the slightly retouched music was awesome and gave me nostalgia for a time I wasn't even alive for. On another great note, it's so awesome to finally see my boy Cyclops done right as the leader of the X-Men! Marvel Animation is doing justice to Cyclops with only two episodes of X-Men 97 when 20th Century Fox couldn't after multiple movies. 😭 The "To me, my X-Men" Call to Arms phrase is the best Marvel has. This comment is already crazy long so I'm going to wrap up by saying that X-Men 97 is even more proof that Marvel stories and just comic book stories in general are best realized in animation. Like I couldn't even imagine them trying to pull off that incredible Cyclops superhero landing in live action because you can only really do cool stuff like that in animation cuz to be quite frank animation is just better. 🥱 Also, seeing that Strom " Omega Level Threat" moment was also so badass! As you can tell I love this show quite a bit so I'm happy to hear that it's the highest rated Marvel show ever with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It genuinely deserves all the critical and streaming viewership success it's finding right now. 👏🏽 10/10 show so far! 🌟✨️🎆

Man I really hope this is the start of Marvel taking their animated projects more seriously. Would love another shot at the Deadpool show, a Spec Spidey S3, or newer projects not tied to a previous show/project.

The problem with Storm in the movies is that she uses the elements versus Storm in this cartoon where she commands the elements.

Marvel needs to start having TV shows that aren't releated to the MCU with an actual purpose

They choose those 3D models for the ending credits because it's a homage to the original ending credits that had these typical 90s CGI models.

I hope Marvel makes some fucking sick ass animated movies. This show is so good, and Sony's Spider-Verse movies are popping off. Please Marvel and DC make sick animated feature movies.

It’s nice to see this show do so well. Nice to see it and Moon Girl pave the way for more Marvel projects that aren’t connected to the MCU.

Well said, we are not tired of superhero content we are tired of BAD superhero content.

It looks like the creators genuinely took their time to craft something special with X-Men 97. The MCU needs to learn from those guys and gals.
