@@Wezt334 i wish it was generation x, but i think from the days of future past wall that bishop was looking at, it’s safe to say it’s gonna be the new mutants. Probably with kitty pride and dust as additions to warlock, mirage, magik, and cannonball. With emma, jubes and sunspot as the teachers.
Fabian Cortez was the guy that Apocalypse took over in season 5. Whether you like the season or not, they'll likely use those events to explain how he came back from the Astral Plane since they used the events of Graduation Day as part of the first episode of X Men 97.
I just don’t think ignoring the fact that Apocalypse took over Cortez’ body is necessary… also calling that guy a poor shmuck after everything he did in the asteroid m storyline is hilarious, dude was a complete sociopath!
Rob We gotta remember: in the original X-Men, when they defeated Apocalypse in rhe Axis of Time, Immortus (Kang) took over the scrap. Season 2 basically continues that thread
They are perfect fits but I feel them being Horsemen would take away from Gambit being revealed as Death. Storm n Wolverine have had countless moments in the series n comics, let Gambit have his moment for once, dude never gets his moment to shine on his own. I say Gambit as Death, Marrow as Pestilence, Leech as Famine, and Sebastian Shaw as War, it's time for Gambit to play a major role and not get overshadowed imo.
Bro has been cooking with straight gas all season on his theories! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Been a subscriber for years. Happy to see the other channels giving you props.
I like how people are excited that they have been fighting Mr. Sinister and now apocalypse. When in the OG they already fought them multiple times lol.
The end was 100000% The City of the Kings, also remember that Apocalypse stole Kang's technology and used it then was contacted by the Celestials, and then (LOL) was infected with the techno organic virus and shot into space where he at some point got the suit and presumably made contact with the Celestials again. Apocalypse is my favorite Marvel villain and this is just awesome.
Some episodes or plot lines seem like they deserve an entire season or two for themselves. Clearly we are gonna get two, maybe three plot lines in the following season; the future with Jean and Scott, the past with Prof. X, Beast, and the others who are going to be interacting with En Shaba Nur, and then maybe one in the present. I would love to see a 2-3 season plot with just En Shaba Nur, his birth, his youth, his coming of age as a warrior, his establishment as a ruler and it's politics, followed by his first civilizations downfall from a human up-rising. Also, the little expression of, "oh dear," by Beast at the end was hilarious. Loved it.
Hey Rob, just wanna let you know I’ve been watching your channel for a long time. You really make my day sometimes and I appreciate you as a human being. Much love dawg
Very cool, the Bastion time explosion makes more sense to me because even if Apocalypse came back to life, they said in season 4 that they wiped his existence from ALL timelines, so in theory he could exist in the modern day and future, but not the past. Not without somebody (Bastion or Kang) manipulating time, even if it was on accident. But don’t feel bad Rob! We love your theories and your videos! It’s not like you get to have looks behind the curtain.
There have been many times I disagree with you and sometimes I think you are just flat out wrong but this time I hope and pray this comes to fruition, it would be such an awesome story, while also continuing to drop hints about Onslaughts imminent arrival leading into season 3 having it be a massive crossover between all the other 90s animated shows (yes even United We Stand lol)!!!!!
So glad ur making videos on xmen97, hands down the best thing we have gotten so far besides guardians of the galaxy. Rob we need more videos of ur thoughts on these amazing show lol
I been watching your videos for years. I legit thought I had already subscribed to you. Just made sure today man. Your videos really enlighten me when it comes to comics being explained..
This is a very solid theory Rob, so when is Marvel going to hire you. You have the historical knowledge, experience and connection to the audience, still feel like their dropping the ball not having you as an executive producer or something🤷🏾♂️
Wolverine and Gambit are a given. I think Sunspot will be famine. And Sinister OR BEAST will be pestilence. Don’t think they’ll have Storm play a baddie.
Yea that's how I see it going down too. Still think Onslaught is brewing. It took some time and was a slow build in the comics so I think they will call back to Charles mind zapping Erik as the event that births Onslaught, its just it took a minute to simmer in Chuck's head. Maybe second half of season 2. These episode move at such a fast clip I wouldn't be surprised if they could pull off 2 arcs in a season.
Hi Rob. My guess for at least 3 of the horsemen are Gambit (of course) Deathbird, Fabian Cortez and either Madelyn or storm. Reason why I say deathbird and Fabian is because in an episode of the original series apocalypse saved Cortez from asteroid M and to my knowledge they never followed up that plot thread. But would be cool if Wolverine faced cyber and got his adamantium back and became a horsemen. Guess we’ll wait and see but just my thoughts.
Yes they are scattered but I also feel like those that are in the asteroid will also be the first to crossover ... it's a singular point were anything can happen on the in-between ..it's a good place for random what if stories, and a good jumping point since it's related to time for anything TVA/Loki/Deadpool to just yoink out and "put back" persay
Yeah, they aren't going to ignore season 5 on how Apocalypse comes back because they would have not continued the show where it left off. But I haven't seen 97 so I might be wrong.
Onslaught took several comics to marinate inside Xavier's psyche under constant stress. It didn't just suddenly appear out of nowhere. Season 3 is a good time to start the Onslaught saga.
@@_Just_Another_Guy With how quickly they are turning and burning through these major arcs from the comics I could easily see them just having Xavier turn heel at some moment 😅
@@_Just_Another_Guy it was the next summer special after AOA. The timeline jumped back to just after Fatal Attractions and it pretty much picked up again from there. Feral Logan series was awesome too.
Honestly, even after listening to Rob for years, when I saw the dome at the end of X-Men '97 and I saw Apocalypse there. I honestly thought that was the Celestial ship where Apocalypse managed to enhance his powers to become the Apocalypse we know now. Kang the Conqueror didn't even enter my brain LMAO.
Arkangel gambit and other 2 idk I wanna guess but I have been off in later episodes it was cool seeing all 3 of magneto kids along how much rogue means to him
Ages of Apocalypse. I like it. I wasn't sure what was going to happen in Season 2, but this makes sense. I wonder what stories they will take from and throw together. I'm not really sure if I like that they only took parts from various stories instead of just doing those stories, but it is what it is. I just hope that Wolverine gets WAY more screen time. Hated how under utilized he was in Season 1.
For Season 2 where getting the following • Rama Tut (Rise Of Apocalypse) • Blood Of Apocalypse • The Adventures Of Cyclops & Phoenix • House Of M (Maybe)
With Bishop time traveling device it was probably a couple of minutes for him when he took Nathan. In the present timeline the x-men were gone for 6 months. But for x-men who are stuck in the past and future. It may have been a couple of days or a couple of weeks for them.
Rob. Do you think that maybe the reason Bishop isn't seen again until the finale is because he "bumped" into Jean and Cyclops as they were time traveling? I dunno... like it also explains why Mother Askani doesn't recognize them and maybe why they're not seen in ancient Egypt as well.
@@hymanroth560 Excuse me for not remembering every detail. I was following what Rob said in this very video to try and make sense of some things. Wasn't trying to get sand in your vagina so my bad.
Hi rob I just wanted to say that I got into comics because of you not that I wasn’t already a marvel and dc fan but I never read a comic book. So in 2021 I saw your video of Dceased war of the undead gods and I told my mom if I can buy the comic and she said yes and since then I’ve been watching you, since I don’t have enough money to buy comics sometimes. 😅
But Wolverine was Death in Marvel Comics , Not War. Also this suggests that there won't be much of feral Wolerine, which was SO COOL!!!!. I hope we get to see plenty of Onslaught 'cause he was such a cool and intimidating character in the 90's. Then they do more cameos which were really really well done in season 1. Anyway that's my 2 pence Rob, all the best. Keep up the great work. Peace
@@djtwister6997 Cable is most definitely Cooler than Morph. 👍🏾 I just don't see Cable being a horseman, because he's supposed to be the key to helping stop Apocalypse.
Ah, the sexiest voice on YT has blessed me with a video to watch on break, you're too kind to us. In all seriousness though, blessings to you and the fam and keep up the good work and motivation!!!!!!
Hey Rob, l haven’t been in the loop so much with comics for the past couple of years… can you go over the characters shown in the last episode of X-men ‘97? Sort of a speed run in order to check out your other videos? Kinda curious of the 4 we see in magneto’s mind, seemed like the twins, rogue and mystique?? (She looked green so it was hard to tell)
If Logan, Storm and Morph all somehow make it back to Genosha in the present day, then Apocalypse could restore Logan's adamantium and turn him into the Horseman of War.
I’m really surprised that no one is talking about how Morph can copy the powers of anyone, not just mutants. We see this when he turns into The Hulk when fighting sentinels.
I literally thought a reason we didn’t see Storm in the time split was because she had become a Horseman of Apocalypse. However, given her already omega classification making her any kind of Horseman would make her too op. I’m afraid it would lead to them sidelining her.
You are completely right the 5th season of X-Men the animated series was horrendous. It looked the writer and animators had just mailed it in at that point. We should indeed act like that season didn’t happen at all.
I think we'll get Wolverine as war, Storm as Famine, and then either Magneto or Rogue as Pestilence. Following Magnetos actions of causing blackouts, whereas rogue could literally just delete or permanently steal X genes from people. Either way, i think Rogue is going ti ve closely tied to the horsemen, either as a force to try and guide Gambit to redemption, or by joining them and further dividing the team.
Nah, I don't do stomping anymore. I can't believe I overlooked the Bastion arm thing though. And I only went with with Roma because it would be fun to setup the far future stuff. I really want the series to have legs! Haha! That dig at season five was perfect though. It was indeed trash and they deserved it for outsourcing so much of it. After they already had studios that worked out.
I know we are excited for Season 2 but does it make sense to act like we know what will happen when 48 hours ago many of us thought it was leading right into Onslaught.
I think his modern day horsemen will either be 1. all mutants who died on Genosha. Or 2. He has his War, Famine, and Pestilence and is looking for his Death (Gambit). I don’t think Wolverine will be a horseman. He will most likely go savage, and have his Storm solo arch for the season. That would be my bet.
