Have the reprint of this ordered, along with the preorder for Fall of the Mutants omnibus. Just need whatever Marvel decides to put into Uncanny Vol 5 and I'll have all the Clairemont X-Men run. Also I bet that cigar edit was to prevent the book from getting an older comic rating, due to tobacco reference on the cover.
I'm in the same boat with needing Fall of the Mutants and an Uncanny Vol 5, it'll be such a satisfying day when the run is complete in omnibus format (X-Tinction Agenda being the anomaly), and you're probably right about the cigar thing, but it's just a funny alteration to make 😅
I have to get this!!!! I think it was the Omni i most wanted and its great its being rereleased. Yep, odd about the Cigar.....I think this is in most peoples top 5 Omnis from what i have seen.
@The Comic Book Trove I know that's the best part, I'm saying the last comics like the trial of magneto and the fantastic four I kinda lost interest. I guess it's hard because I read a lot of the omnibus's in one sitting
That probably didn't help, as much as I love the run let's be honest, Claremont is particularly wordy with his writing, you can easily get burned out if you try reading too much in a short time
