16:20 “The White Queen welcomes you to DIE!” *evil laugh* I love the White Queen/Emma Frost. I went as her for Halloween a couple of years ago. I even made my costume similar to the one seen in this game (not half naked). I also love how they made her laugh in this game sound like a low end Halloween Witch decoration.
I remember playing this game at an arcade with some kids, I dropped in quarters to play the only character left, “Nightcrawler”. Turns out that the controller for him was broken, after fighting in the part of the level where I joined up, I couldn’t move/walk anymore and we couldn’t continue to the next screen. Then, get this, those other kids were mad at ME, despite the fact they knew that controller was broken and didn’t bother to tell me (they saw me putting quarters in it). The manager also knew the Nightcrawler controls were broken and didn’t put tape over the coin slot or leave an “out of order” note. I wasn’t local to that arcade, it was my first and last time there.
VideoGaming4U yeah you’re welcome. Nowadays you get some antisocial adult-child screaming and cussing at you in online games from their home. But at least you can mute them. However, I liked arcades because generally they required some civility. To quote “Jovial Bob” Stine: “Never laugh at another player’s score...unless that player is much smaller than you!”
@@juliusquasar1565 Exactly! Love the being about to mute toxic people. What I have noticed over the past couple of years is the resurgence of Arcades around the country, so that is good. Perfect quote!
@@juliusquasar1565 Yeah, even in my area there are several locations to play old school arcades. Arcade 1UP is also helping to bring the "real life" arcade to your home.
Great video, this brings back so many memories. When I was a kid playing this game in the arcade down the street, I would arrive with about 50 dollars worth of coins. When I got home I was completely broke & I only got halfway through the game. :(
rashune knight At my local arcade, Colossus and Nightcrawler were the two that people stood in line for, followed by Wolverine, then Cyclops, then Storm. Dazzler was always dead last and people would often wait for another player to run out of quarters rather than choose Dazzler.
