@@saucec-note9562the score was just released today but i couldn't find this part of the score anywhere on the official list. at least i didn't hear it. it's the one part of the score i was looking forward to the most 😭
storm alone could've destroyed and deflected the asteroid. the three of them could've done so more easily. but yeah the plot needed magneto to save the day.
Not in the 90s! Storm wasn't that powerful back then, not in the comics. Her biggest move at that time had probably been her solar winds against sentinels in space. I think people tend to retroactively apply power levels to developing characters. Storm in 2024 is not the same as she was back then.
@askani21 What the hell are you talking about? 90s stop was casually channeling and controlling the energies of millions of stars in a galactic core to purge herself of the brood infesting her and loss control and created a primal ever expanding super storm that was rapidly spreading across the globe that caused Colosus to liken her to Dark Phoenix.
@@newman8180 so true! And when she finally gets her powers back, she went down so fast in the final battle. She didn't do much to be honest. Which is kinda sad.
@@UnifiedEntity I disagree. In the animated series Storm lifted an entire building and dropped it on the Juggernaut. She should have no problem moving the asteroid. Especially if Jean, Rogue and Cyclops helping her. But I still say she could've done it alone.
When it comes to magnetism, nobody is above Magneto. Like the entire X-Men could not stop the asteroid (which is mainly composed of iron and nickel and other metals) and the moment Magneto is back, he lifts it up like it's nothing.
I feel you though without the Phoenix it is comic accurate for her power levels in the 90. She and Storm had to mix powers in an issue to keep Avalon together one time
Jean already used up the last remaining Phoenix remnant in her before this happened. She used the last Phoenix trace to stop Bastion on the ground. She said she can no longer feel the Phoenix Force after that happened.
Captain America, Iron Man and Black Panther (senior) are seen with the government, but even if they had tried they wouldn't have been much help lol. (We can assume Black Widow, Hawkeye and Falcon were helping out with the Prime Sentinels, but they're mostly useless at this level lol) Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver were offworld, as we saw on Forge's board. No clue where. Carol Danver never came out of her coma in the series, so Binary/Captain Marvel doesn't exist in this timeline. Hulk has never been reliable loll, no idea where he was, but probably best he didn't punch the Asteroid loll The only Avenger who could have really saved the day was Thor. But in the comics, whenever Thor is needed, he is offworld on Asgard or lost in some realm. He only ever shows up when it's convenient for the plot lol Sadly we didn't hear from the Fantastic Four, they would have saved the day easily! But again, in the comics, they are often off planet fighting some aliens and stuff.
